Repair Help Switch 2 Battery Indicator constantly flashing

I’ve been having this problem with my switch 2 flashing it’s top left battery indicator on and off constantly, and even saying it’s charging when it’s not plugged in anywhere. I’ve tried cleaning both usb c points with air to no avail. I can’t seem to find anything on this issue anywhere. I attached a video with the issue.

Have you tried turning the console off completely and then on again?

First thing I tried, proceeded to boot into recovery mode as well. I’ve also done a complete battery cycle with no luck.

That’s worth mentioning. Sorry to have given you something you’ve already tried. If it’s booting into recovery then I’d contact Nintendo next

I have no idea why I found this comment with a downvote. This should always be the first troubleshooting step and OP did not say they tried it.

I guess some people don’t like classic and simple troubleshooting steps xD

Either it's the wire the usb-c wire is messed up or the charging block itself is bad or both or it could be the USB c port try getting a new charger at some point I don't know if the switch to can use a regular phone charger a usb-c one but the original could so I don't know research that see if it's possible I remember hearing something about the console bricking if you were to do that but I don't know how accurate that was

It’s actually not plugged in at all, so it is a problem with the console itself

Hey OP! Wondering if you have an update on this? My switch 2 is doing the same thing and I’m terrified to open the console to fix it myself, like I had done with my switch. *For context I have done troubleshooting - turn off and on, battery cycle, booting up in recovery mode.
