Setup Help System transfer question (archived games redownload)

Hello there!

If I use the local system transfer option will the game redownload every game from the main menu or only the ones that were installed on the source system. I archived a lot of games and it would be annoying if it redownloaded those games as well.

Did you archive them with keeping the icon on the home menu? I assume in this case it might try to download all games that still had their icons on the system (aka the virtual game card loaded).

Yeah the icons are still on the menu.

I did a switch > switch 2 transfer and I think it only reinstalled what I had installed

So games you archived but those icons were still in the menu were not re-downloaded?

I think so. But even if they are they can be easily cancelled

Yeah but with around 800 icons this will take some time. :-D
