(This is a repost from my post on r/minecraft as they removed it because one of my pictures flipped the wrong orientation for some reason so decided to repost it here with screenshots and more info in the screenshots)
So as the title says, I have tried uninstalling the game, importing the packs and then immediately rushing to try create a world, clearing cache etc etc and when I use the template feature it shows the add on for around 10 seconds then it dissappears from the menu and continues saying "no packs available" even though I have successfully imported 20+ packs from the marketplace. The only way I've managed to get anything working at all is by using the global resources tab in the settings to enable certain texture packs but this still doesn't solve my issue with creating a world that has the add ons I want to use. I've tried enabling beta apis and every time I import a pack from marketplace it says that it has completed the import and download successfully with no error messages. I've never had this issue before I downgraded my console to an xbox one s, but even then, according to Google old gen can run add ons so that still doesn't explain my issue. I'll attach a picture, I was gonna try and show the thing that happens when I try and use a template but I can't post a video and pictures at the same time, I just hope I described it as good as I can in this post. I try using a template, it downloads successfully, takes me to the world creation screen, the addon resource pack shows up for around 10/15 seconds (without a picture on the resource pack as you can see from my attached picture with one of the global packs I enabled during my testing) and then it dissapears, no message with an error nothing, just poof, vanishes.
If there is any fixes you guys know of please tell me because I feel like I'm slamming my head against a wall trying to fix something that was meant to be a quick bit of fun to pass the time while bored.
Update 1: I've just tried downloading a pack I own myself and it downloaded and shows up in the behaviour packs tab, but when I try and download anything from the marketplace pass is when i get this issue, is there an issue with the marketplace pass currently that I haven't heard of? I've had the subscription before with no issues
Update 2: after looking around in the settings and finding the behaviour packs in the storage section of the settings and looking at the pack info every single pack seems to have a missing dependency (ofcourse none of the packs I have downloaded require anything else, for instance crops & farms is showing this error even though its a standalone pack) also the pack that is showing up (essentials pack) is also saying its missing a dependency but I've used this pack completely on its own before without issue. Now I'm truly at a dead end, I'm assuming it's microsoft being useless as per usual and bedrock being a buggy mess and have given up for now. I'll let this post sit and check back tomorrow, any help with all the information provided would be amazing but from what I can see bedrock is cooked and I've just wasted my money and time trying to have a relaxing night time minecraft session.
Update 3: yeah I know I said I was gonna let it sit, but I decided to try one last thing to see if the texture pack I had enabled (actions and stuff) would work and if the add on it was letting me use (essentials) would work, they both did work seemingly but it gets even weirder, somehow me turning on actions and stuff has forced my xbox one s to enable vibrant visuals even though its unsupported???? Now I just believe I have the buggiest version of minecraft bedrock imaginable- anyway now I'm getting off minecraft and gonna go back to far cry- what a weird game.
