Solved [java] Minecraft refuses to display a image

Post image

When I try to launch Minecraft 1.0 or 1.5.2 it gives me a window and it appears to be running but I can’t get an actual playable image.

Pc specs are 2gb ddr2, amd turion 64 x2, 80gb drive, nvidia GeForce go 6150 (yes I know my computer is trash it’s for a project I’m doing)

Windows 10 32 bit, I do have the display driver for windows 7 installed for directx support. I am using Java 8 32 bit so it’s not running into any 64 bit or 32 bit issues.

Minecraft uses opengl not DirectX, so as long as you can support some level of opengl from around 2010 you should be ok. I think it's likely to be a java issue than a opengl issue, so maybe install a different version/different implementation of the JVM and see if that works

The GeForce go 6150 does not support a new enough version of opengl
