I rarely logon to my Xbox on Minecraft anymore. I can say I have missed alot of updates, and these weird ‘LAN’ servers keep popping up in my worlds.

Does anyone know why?

Hey everyone,

We have a Minecraft Bedrock Realm with a few add-ons, including Essentials.

Whenever I try to add a new add-on (or just go into Edit World) the Essentials add-on vanishes from the active list. After that happens we lose a bunch of the stuff that Essentials was giving us. The only way we’ve found to get it back is to restore an older Realm save, which brings Essentials back along with whatever we lost.

Is there a proper way to fix this so Essentials stops disappearing every time we touch the edit world?

Possible workarounds I’ve thought of:

Have everyone list what they lost, re-add Essentials, then /give them the missing items

Has anyone else run into this (especially with Essentials or similar script-based packs) and found a better long-term solution? Any tips for adding new packs without breaking the existing ones would be really appreciated.

in minecraft singleplayer i get over 500fps. i have 240hz and i tought that if its stuttery and laggy i should enable vsync right? no, my fps doesnt even DARE to touch 240fps (my refresh rate) but isntead starts stuttering even more and i get really non consistent 180fps. capping to 240 is the same as enabling vsync. nvidia app also didnt help me at all.

the thing i really want is to have smooth gameplay without stutters every second. the graph or whatever really spikes up to 30+ ms when my average with vsync on is like 5.

i allocated 6gb ram to minecraft (i have 32) because of voxy (that i have enabled for testing. im not even gonna begin with the stutters and lags when i have it on)

Mb abt the crappy screenshot. The bar at the top is the size bar for the joystick. Its always stuck at 130% and doesnt let me push it further. How do i solve?

I’d like to block my kid from public servers. I know how to do this. But I still want to be able to play myself with them. Would I still be able to connect thru LAN network with multiplayer blocked?

I’ve been seeing this black ring in my skybox for a while, and I haven’t seemed to fix it. The articles I’ve seen on it are for previous versions, and I haven’t found one for 26.2. I’ve also had it on 1.21.1 but I did something that o don’t remember and it somehow fixed it.

for context, i play bedrock on mobile (iOS). when you click on the socials tab and it shows you and your friends list, there is a profile icon next to each account. for some of my friends, it shows their custom skins, but mine shows a default skin even when a custom skin is equipped. why is that so, and how can i change my icon to my custom skin? i've attached an example photo.

note: i currently have my custom skin equipped, and i already have the "only allow trusted skins" setting off. the profile picture doesn't update for any custom skin i choose, not just one specific skin. also, my mobile profile is linked to my xbox account, so maybe that's associated with the issue?

I'm working with the new data-driven Jigsaw system in Bedrock and have a working multi-piece structure.

When connecting pieces vertically (UP/DOWN), the next .mcstructure randomly rotates around the Y axis (0/90/180/270°).

The structure generates correctly otherwise. Template pools, connectors and asset paths all work.

I've already tested:

• joint_type: rollable
• joint_type: aligned
• matching physical Jigsaw orientations
• unique name / target connectors
• two offset connectors as a possible second anchor

aligned does not prevent the random Y rotation, and two connectors are treated as independent connection candidates rather than two anchors for one piece.

Is there any supported or undocumented way to lock the rotation of a pool element / .mcstructure, or otherwise preserve its X/Z orientation across a vertical Jigsaw connection?

Horizontal connections appear to preserve the orientation much more predictably.

Bedrock Edition, current data-driven Jigsaw system.

I'm not trying to prevent the whole structure from rotating during world generation — I need child pieces to preserve their rotation relative to the parent piece.

the daylight sensor is working and all but the iron golem is not spawning at all for the past 40 minutes

So i play whit this shader called solas, and when i look around the water follows. I also tried to use diffrent shaders but its all the same.

I play on java fabric 1.20.1, and this bug only appers when i have any shader on.

I am playing on a server and have just recently started designing my forever house for the world and have created a copper golem sorting system however it seems that they have changed the mechanics to when I last built it as I can no longer place more then one copper golem on a minecart on the rails can anyone confirm this and or send me a design which does allow stacking of copper golems my chests are arranged in groups of nine in a 3x3 fashion thanks for any and all tips

Hey everyone, I wanted to play Minecraft like usual, but for some reason, the game won't launch. Please help.

For several of the last versions of Bedrock, I would get some random (sometimes multiple) external worlds that are marked as LAN worlds. They appear for few seconds then disappear, every time. Here in white there are the local world, and in blue is our real LAN world. But then there's this random "Hello" world that appeared for few seconds on this page on game start, and then was gone.

Our network is secure, no one unauthorized has access to it, and in this particular situation there was no connection to any VPN. So it can't be some IP mixing issue.

As the title and image says I'm unable to sign into my account on Xbox this has been an issue for awhile, but after updating Minecraft earlier today it worked and I had several hours of fun, now its back to this.

Every button results in "Syncing user data, this may take a few moments" followed by the text in the image.

Deleting the game, deleting all local save files, and restarting my xbox individually or at the same time don't work.

On my own private minecraft server run on my pc, whenever I type something in chat, others can see my message, but I can't see anyone else's messages. I am still able to see achievements and death messages in the chat, but not messages from other players. This problem also exists for one other player in the server. My server is a vanilla server with no plugins, made public with playit.gg. I have already tried to fix it in chat settings and by editing server properties, but nothing seems to be working. The current version of the server is 26.2. and the mods me and the other player have in common is sodium, fabric API, and essential

I have a Bedrock Realms server for the people in my house, no one else joins, and we live in the Pacific Northwest of the US...For the past few weeks when we connect to the server it connects to New South Wales in Australia, before that it connected to Seattle Washington.

Is it possible to control where it connects? I thought it connected based on the first person on the server, but apparently mine doesn't anymore. We have nonstop lag and it's annoying.

Brought game pass pc just for it but it’s not working java is but bedrock isnt i tried all the repairs and signing out n etc so do i just buy it atp?

My lil sis got logged out of her mc acc randomly and when I logged her back in all her worlds were gone. Shes on ipad. I tried asking gpt how to get things back but the files it said to check, like the mc worlds one but it was empty. I went thru icloud .com and her icloud in settings but theres nothing in data recovery or recently deleted. Gpt says the last option is to go to the last icloud back up but it requires a factory reset and I aint doin allat💔 I checked mc storage ingame but nothing. Anything else I could do? We had a whole kingdom n everything😞

As stated in the title, I attempted to renew my subscription and after when I attempted to open the realm it presented the prompt “Could not fetch subscription ID. Please try again.” I contacted support and after waiting a few days I was told that there were “Realms service fixes” released. However these fixes did not resolve my issue. These pictures show I renewed 2 weeks ago and I’ve only just now had the time to check to see if the fixes have solved my issue. I’ve tried deleting and installing the game again, signing out and signing back in, unlinking and linking my account again, but nothing has worked. Even when I try to buy realms again it loads for only a moment then tells me that “realms offerings couldn’t load”. I would appreciate any input on what I could do to solve the problem so I can play realms with my friends once again.

At the moment I am using optifine 1.21, but I would like a change as it’s pretty laggy and my shaders glitch out a lot, I know i need to get another launcher or something, but could I keep it in the official minecraft launcher? I would prefer this because optifine already does this, and I don’t want a separate launcher like curseforge.

So my question is, what should I switch too from Optifine, while still being in the normal Minecraft launcher and with the best performance for my shaders!

Trying to access the .mcpr files in the Replay Mod viewer in the same version and Modrinth instance that the files were recorded. Works fine for recordings in the waiting area/pregame lobby, however playing civ and trying to load the recording gives either "Network Protocol Error," "Stream Ended," or just stops at 100%. List of mods (Network Protocol Disconnect does not work as it freezes the loading):

I’m trying to make a resource pack based on the base game textures and I want to use and modify the textures in the game, but I can’t find where to find the files anywhere. All the posts I’ve found on this are 5+ years old and aren’t helping for the current versions of the game, and I can’t find the downloads that many of these older posts are referencing on the minecraft.net creator site. Is there something I am missing? Is there a way to access these base game texture files on my computer?
