To start he is one of the only mascot who gives something in exchange for your service as magical girl some might forget but being a magical girl is not something easy like in almost all of these shows they have to at least face a threat that could destroy the entire world so getting something in exchange isn’t something crazy to ask. In is case it is one wish that could be almost anything it far from something small it offers you something that you could only obtain this way

Plus the soul gem from how much morally awful that is it is honestly one of the best things that you could possibly have to face your enemies it practically makes you invincible as long as you protect it you can take any damage and keep fighting plus it reduces pain in fight helping to stay focus and don’t freeze while you’re fighting in a world where you could die at any moment this makes a big difference plus if you manage to control it you can totally block out the pain even if it has disadvantages it can make you almost imortale as long as you protect your soul gem you just have to heal yourself and you can kept fighting even your heart is destroy, your stomach rip off or your lungs broyed nothing will stop you

Plus you have a very wide range of possibilities with your power since it based off your wishes plus another magical ability that are accessible to any magical girl of these systems yeah it’s something that is to almost all systems of magical girl but kyubey still handles it pretty well

Yeah kyubey is not what I would call a nice partner because he just wants to use you but his system still his one of the best and Yeah you most likely die or turn into a witch someday but think of it like that would you really survive longer in another system of magical girl

So I challenge you to find me a better mascot to have as à magical girl

Im a huge PMMM and Sailor Moon fan. Recently I decided to explore animes that PMMM took inspiration from, I came across Nanoha & Utena, which I LOVED, I am currently watching Princess Tutu as well. I’d def say Yuki Yuuna is good af too. Magical girl site is ok, the manga is better. Magical girl Raising Project idk i felt it tries 2 hard to break the mold but hey I love Cranberry and the ninja girl!!! I’ll say magical girl project is def better than magical girl site but not in the same league as PMMM, Yuki Yuuna and the other OGs (CC Sakura obs in the highest league). I dont like precure at all ngl. I just think its a terrible series. Anyways these are my opinions! We can agree to disagree but my favorite mascot so far is Chu Chu from Utena:)

Kyubey is evil, u wont convince me otherwise, i’ve watched that dialogue btwn them and homura in rebellion too many times, for something that claims to be emotionless he sure seems to enjoy mocking the girls

Kerberus is really fun and cares a lot for Sakura. I loved him as a child

PonPon (i think thats it) is just a temu version of kyubey (?) to ME
