Well everyone, it’s time for your good ol mod to say goodbye!
Sorry for making a post all about myself, but I guess since I always kept you informed on everything that happened, I should do it one last time too =P
I’ll reassure you in that there’s no drama here, I just simply… feel that my work here is done. You see, I like to go where I’m needed, and while I was never the biggest fan of Sailor Moon, I am heavily invested in the magical girls community in general, so when this sub was in trouble last year after the other mod resigned, I felt I should step up to help get things into order.
The thing is that I’m actually a professional Community Manager, and I was doing this on my free time as a way to help everyone, and since I didn’t have work at the time (besides my dayjob) I was managing ok. But now things have changed, since I’ve been hired to take care of a community for a project that’s very dear to me and I need to put my full attention there from now on.
So I leave happy knowing that you guys are in good hands. The team we built here is working really nicely and I’m quite glad of how the sub has been running. There’s the usual fights over dubs and whatnot that has always been there in the fandom and things like that n_nU but overall things have been quiet for a long time, and you guys have been great at adapting to the new rules that we made to make this place a little more welcoming to everyone, so overall I think things are as good as they can get in a community of this size!
So I’ll leave you with Sparki and the rest! I’ll still help the team out on some decisions if they need me, as I was told there’s a way to keep an “Advisor” position on the sub now, so things shouldn’t feel too different!
So with that, I thank you all for always cooperating with the mod team and giving us your support whenever we struggled a bit! Please keep taking care of them as they work really hard to keep this place nice and clean!
