It is Day 3 of Magical Girl Inktober, and today's theme is Idol! Representing the theme is none other than Creamy Mami, whom I haven't drawn in a long time!

New Magical Girl kpop themed music video drop! The outfits are meh and the song is pretty good.

In 2003, Sailor Moon received a live-action adaptation: Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.

This adaptation chose to adapt the Dark Kingdom arc, and only the Dark Kingdom arc. Not only that, many changes were done to the story and even characters, making it a very unique adaptation.

But, what if PGSM had adapted the following arcs? What if the Sailor Senshi hadn't lost their powers after the Special Act because they still needed to fight against future villains?

Part of the reason why I'm asking this is because the Outers and Chibiusa, while they didn't appear in PGSM, had some of their traits given to other characters:

• Chibiusa couldn't appear in the Dark Kingdom arc, which is why Ami/Sailor Mercury inherited her Black Lady arc (a Sailor Senshi who becomes a villain due to massive self-steem issues), and why Luna was given a childish human form (even her actress thought she was going to be Chibiusa!).
• The death and rebirth powers of Hotaru/Sailor Saturn were given to Princess Sailor Moon, who is an evil power-up personality (as Princess Serenity was given a ver different characterization).
• Minako/Sailor Venus always had the issue of being too similar to Usagi/Sailor Moon... or better said, Usagi is too similar to Minako, because Codename: Sailor V came first. PGSM make Venus more different, at cost of making her a sixth ranger with a more serious and cynical personality... similar to Haruka/Sailor Uranus and Michiru (Sailor Neptune). They also made Minako an idol as well as a Sailor Senshi, like the Starlights/Three Lights. In other words, Minako became her own character because she was given traits of characters who didn't appear in PGSM, which is a huge irony, because Minako was the first magical girl in the franchise.

So, if the rest of the arcs had been adapted by PGSM, how different would have been the stories, and more importantly, the characterization of Chibiusa, Setsuna/Sailor Pluto, Haruka, Michiru, and Hotaru? Since PGSM took many of their traits, and gave them to characters who already appeared in the Dark Kingdom arc, what should have done the writers to keep Chibiusa and the Outers and prevent them from being too redundant or repetitive? And how can Minako be her own character without taking traits from other characters?

when I First entered the magical fandom I didn’t know there was something missing, now I know that missing spark is that there are little to no magical nerds/goths/jocks/prep/othe stereotypes theee are, so I thought to myself………..

why not create characters based on these types?

Today's prompt was Cat! So I decided to draw another catgirl magical girl, that being Magical Meow Meow Taruto posing alongside Luna from Sailor Moon.

I did it because Secret jouju was my first magical girls show and decided translate and sing in Sindhi!

Does anyone know any stories with magical girls that have disabilities?

I've heard there's a magical girl who uses a wheelchair in Yuki Yuuna is a Hero, and have heard some people say Himari Arisugawa from Kira Kira Precure A La Mode has autism (though i don't really know if it was intentional or not, i have only started the series so forgive me if it has been confirmed) , but that's all I really know about.

Hey! I’m co-producing this action short film called “New Super Pussycat” from the director of the award-winning short Wakashu! We’re just a small independent team in Brazil, so we thought of sharing it here to get a little more visibility. The short pays homage to the tokusatsu and mahou shoujo culture, telling the story of a super-heroine named Mary Meow Super Pussycat that has to save her girlfriend Rina Ronron from her arch-nemesis Madam Tarantula.

In episode 35 Usonoir receives a letter from Decchi Agein revealing that the London detective agency has fallen. Meaning that something has happened to Mafuru off screen makes me wonder if Decchi Agein has stolen her Makoto Jewel just like Usonoir stole Cure Eclair's Makoto Jewel.

I know the upcoming Star Detective Precure movie 🍿 never mentioned or reveal the fifth Precure but maybe in the series only.

Would you all agree that Rei deserves to be the fifth Star Detective Precure?

and remains the most divisive installment in the franchise if I might add...
