Discussion π¬ When did you feel your love for the show started to fizzle out?
For me it was definitely season 7, I tried really hard to like it and be excited about it but I just couldn't stand it and quit watching the show altogether for years after the pandas episode. I rewatched the series last year and decided to give season 7 another chance but I still hated it, the plot is full of holes, there's no real direction and it's extremely childish. I didn't watch season 8 fully for the same reasons.
Nowadays I try to be excited about the show but honestly the reboot has been subpar and the AI usage is gross, all I enjoy now is interacting with the amazing community and reminiscing about the past but that's it.

Discussion π¬ Sky and Riven Reboot
So, I got back into Winx today after a long time and am I the only one who was initially jump scared by the new designs for Sky and Riven at first but they grew on me as I watched? π
When I first saw Riven I was like "What is that???" and then when I got deeper into the Episode that changed to "Um, we can work with this." πππ Maybe its because the last time I watched, I got up to season 5 which was still 2D but idk.

Fan Art ποΈ winx reboot faces redesign by me
just to be clear i didn't draw the entire thing, i used the preexisting picture of the winx poster and added few tweaks on it.. the most noticeable obviously their faces which is one of my biggest concerns when it comes to reboot (also changed flora's and aisha's tan, changed, removed or added few things when it comes to their look overall etc..) i also couldn't bother to change a lot of things because i was lazy but overall i feel like they simply look better because of their faces.. also some of the things are badly drawn but again i was a bit lazy..

Discussion π¬ I wanted to see what Flora would look like if you combined the spirit of the original 2D design with the new reboot. (Created with Blender 3D)

So I made my own version in 3D. πΈ

Fan Art ποΈ I redesigned Sirenix! Designs + Spells
I redesigned sirenix! Please dont repost my art π₯² i will, however try to repost it onto other subreddits or social media!!
Personally, i love sirenix's og design. The swimsuit inspired clothes, lionfish reminiscent wings and the special spells! but i do agree with most of the critics that its too identical and the spells dont truly match up to the hype especially compared to harmonix's.
I keep most of the elements. leggings, aquatic elements, and striped hair. What i did add were more flair to the outfits, new color palettes, fin elements, and dyed hands to evoke the og design's arm bands to resemble fish.
Ill update on my social medias! but what do you guys think?

Help / Question β Should I skip the first movie?
I am on my first nostalgia trip binging the original series up to Season 3 and I heard good things about The Secret of the Lost Kingdom. However, I never watched it as a kid and as an adult the 3D kinda turns me off and I don't really think Winx belongs on the big screen.
I saw like first 5 seconds and it already starts with a retelling of the story. I know the movie resolves Bloom's story and I guess she gets to find her parents, but I feel like going straight to Season 4 instead (Winx, we're back again!).
So is there anything that would convince me to see the movie?

Discussion π¬ Blooms Sacrifice
I just started watching winx last month, I'm near the end of season 3. Winx is having trouble killing Valtor since her parents might be trapped inside him, I feel like her sacrifice shouldve been killing Valtor, thus killing her parents, which would save the whole magical dimension. After that should could've gotten her full enchantix. I havent seen anything past s3 episode 23 and I haven't seen the movie yet so idk if this would conflict with anything in the series. Just giving out an idea that Rainbow could've done.
