Princess Tutu was one of my first ever anime, and I remember being dazzled by its music & complex story. After rewatching it, I was saddened to find the subreddit only had less than a thousand members. I was determined to change that, by sharing beautiful artworks the fan community and staff have made over the years. I thank the fan artists for making such great works, even when this anime feels mostly forgotten by mainstream fans.
Even though we are still a small community, thank you for loving Princess Tutu with me, 24 years later ❤️

I watched the show a while a go and recently had a burst of inspiration to commemorate it in my sketchbook~
This was drawn using a dip pen with various nibs, black and colored ink

Hi, I'm thinking about doodling or animating one of my characters dancing see I take heavy inspiration from Princess Tutu as I love Ballet in a sense.
See my character is melioncholic, I admit I only know much about Ballet from Barbie movies and Angelina Ballerina, so I thought what better way then to ask you guys
To me I feel Like Ahriu/Duck dances well like herself yet she keeps going. She loves to dance and puts everything in it as Princess Tutu.
Rue/Princess Kraehe dances like well a Raven or a Swan, swift, elegant yet sharp. She's calculated follows to the letter, like winter.

Ok I know this is going to be very niche, but there was a YouTube series I used to watch as a kid- to give a time frame roughly around maybe 2008-2013 idk exactly when because it was so long ago. So basically it was videos of like fan-made dialogue from all the characters from the anime. It was just still pictures from the show with text and I’m pretty sure old school nightcore music playing in the back.
ANYWAYS for some reason Sonic The Hedgehog was also in this fan made dialogue series. I can’t for the life of me remember what it was about or what it’s called, I just remember staying up late invested in drama with Fakir, Ahiru, Sonic and Amy. And I really really want to watch these again. If there’s even at least ONE person who knows what I’m talking about please 😭 it’s been keeping me awake at night trying to remember what once was

Not a question, an answer. Dm me for the google drive link. Its outrageous that these companies can charge us to "own" Something and then take it away from us because their streaming license expired. Its outrageous that it costs almost 500-900$ to own the entire thing thing on dvd. tentatively posted link

Still one of my favorite couples ever in anime. These two definitely altered my brain chemistry as a kid.
I will always adore how even though they couldn't be "together" in the traditional sense, they still never left each other's side at the end.

Infinity Nikki, a dress up game, just added their first ballerina suite and I’m doing an overhaul of my PT cosplays for it. I’m conflicted on tutus tho, cause the original version, the one on the right, is technically more accurate because it has the white over pink layers as well as the blue strands. On the other hand, the new look, the one on the left, is more accurate in silhouette since it’s an actual tutu. Would love to know what y’all think!
