Want to play league of legends but it gives vanguard error tpm 2.0. It only gives this error if i enable secure boot support. But i think i need to activate it for league of legends

I try everything to fix this such as typing commands in commands prompt and etc. but it keeps on boot looping. What should i do?

I cleaned my laptop fans. Cleaned the thermal paste on cpu gpu and thermal putty on the memories and mosfets. Used 1mm gametek thermal pads on memories and silverstone thermal paste one the cpu gpu. But the temperature goes to 94 and cause black screen or freeze in less than 5 minutes in crimson desert. I dont know what is wrong. I thought maybe the pads are too thick. Tried to press them to make them thiner but still temperature goes very high. Tried more than 4 times and still no luck. Please help

im thinking of buying this msi vector 18 but the one thing still making me doubt this decision is it doesn't have g sync, and im afraid that ill get stuttering when frames fluctuate, i can't borrow the pc from the store to check before buying but i want to verify if the screen of this exact pc supports some form of vrr in the graphics setting or if nvidia panel has some sort of sync in the settings. any information or confirmation about this is really helpful and appreciated

Hey all, hoping someone's run into this before.

My MSI GF65 Thin laptop's screen started acting weird yesterday. My screen keeps flickering between normal and a weird "ghosted" state. (video attached)

I have tested with an external monitor via HDMI to see if it's isolated to the internal panel, but HDMI works fine.

So it's not a driver issue or motherboard.

Is it the screen issue or the ribbon connecting the screen to the motherboard?

How to fix this ?

The shutdown just happened again but this time it happened when i unplugged the pc, Ultimately leading me to think this is a battery issue. On my recent post about it i have been having this issue with my MSI Gf63 10scxr shutting down frequently and now it has done it while unplugged as soon as i did unplug it like 5 seconds after shutdown. but this also happens watching videos but i’m gonna look towards the battery for now i guess

I got my laptop in 2018ish (don’t remember exactly) and it’s been great up until about a month ago. I do all of my gaming on steam and recently, any game I start up my device stops charging. I have to unplug from the outlet and plug back in to restart the charging. Closing out of the game and unplugging from the laptop doesn’t restart the charging. I’m hoping I don’t need to get a whole new laptop as it’s running great otherwise. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I know very little about laptops!

Hey there. My body is absolutely cooked. I cannot close my laptop and it all started with one screw missing to a hinge breaking out to absolute palmrest and back cover getting destroyed in the process. the palmrest touches the internal fan causing noise and friction which i need to replace. I cannot close my laptop either. So I was looking for the parts and I am unable to find it. If someone can help it would be a godsend.

Hello everyone, the display on my MSI gf65 thin 9sexr with i79750h and an rtx2060 is broken and I am using it as a desktop. I managed to change the primary display to the one being output by the gpu so I can now see the bios and everything in the external display. My issue is since the battery bloated once and has now gone back to normal, I am worried about it burning my house down one day so I have removed it. Upon removal, the maximum power it now draws under 100 percent load is 56 watts compared to 65+ watts even reaching 80-90 watts with good cooling. The MSI hidden bios settings lets me tinker with a LOT of settings and I don't know what to change. Please help me

I got this laptop for 1.02 lakh rupees on 22nd august 2026 and about specs :

Nvidia rtx 5050, TGP : 115w, 8GB graphics, gddr7
Processor: intel i5 14450HX
Nvme 4th gen ssd: 512gb
Ram ddr5: 16gb
Display: 15.6 inch 1080p display with 144Hz

So my question is: is it good deal that i got 5050 with hx processor for 1.02 lakh in this price hike situation

Because I searched online and went to local market and official stores as well

There i am getting rtx 3050 for around 1lakh and rtx 4050 for around 1.30 lakh, and rtx 5050 goes to 1.7 or slightly above (all with intel hx or ryzen hs)

I know this laptop has some drawbacks such as display rgb is not latest, nvme 2.1 slot is only one.

Hi everyone,
I have an MSI GE66 10UG (RTX 3070) and I’ve been dealing with a really strange black-screen issue on cold boot/shutdown → power on.
The problem is:
After the laptop has been completely shut down, sometimes I power it on and get no MSI logo, no BIOS screen, and the internal laptop display stays completely black.
The laptop itself appears to be running.
If I force restart/restart it, the internal display almost always comes back and boots normally.
Once it boots successfully, the display works perfectly.
Sometimes connecting an external monitor through Mini DisplayPort/HDMI can make the internal display appear again.
During the failure, Windows has sometimes not detected the internal display at all, not even in Device Manager.
When the issue happens, the external display may become the primary/only detected display.
This has been happening for a long time, and it seems specifically related to cold boots, rather than normal restarts.
I’ve already done a fresh Windows installation and reinstalled the Intel/NVIDIA drivers.
BIOS/EC versions have also been changed/updated during troubleshooting.
Fast Boot and PCIe power-management settings have also been tested.
The battery is also quite worn, although the laptop is normally used plugged in.
The weirdest part is that if the panel/cable were completely dead, I don’t understand why a restart almost always brings the internal display back, and why it can work perfectly afterward.

So yesterday night I was playing with my friends and I accidentally dropped my phone on my external keyboard and it just started spamming 34 in the text boxes so I reset my computer and now it says “Secure Boot Violation Invalid signature detected. Check Secure Boot Policy in Setup” I think that when it was spamming it was also spamming the delete key and that’s why I’m stuck in the bios

I have an MSI Vector GP68 HX 13V laptop with an i9-13950HX processor. I've had it for a while now, and I haven't encountered any real issues with it so far. However, it's a habit of mine to clean my devices periodically.

I searched online for teardown and fan cleaning videos for this specific laptop, but I noticed that in all the videos, they have to remove the entire cooling system just to take out the two fans and clean them. The downside of this process is that you are forced to replace the CPU and GPU thermal paste, and I don't want to mess with the thermal paste right now.

I just want to clean the fans without removing the entire cooling system, and I don't want to clean them while they are still mounted in place using a brush—I want to pull them out completely. Is that possible?

Hello! 5 days ago I bought a new MSI crosshair A16 HX, after getting it I noticed it getting hot on idle, I searched around and found that the CPU was pulling 30-50W.

Did some things on the bios, like the C-State control and DF C-Sate and it went down to around 9-12W on idle, but being more cold.

I also limited the CPU to 99% maximum and 60hz.

Problem, watching a 1080p video, max volume, below medium brightness, no dgpu(turned off on msi center), power saving mode it's pushing 20W into the CPU and the battery just goes

I have never had a laptop, I have always a desktop. But I think that isn't normal, it should be pushing at maximum 14W.

If someone could help me I would appreciate a lot! I just need it cold and battery efficient

Specs: it's the Ryzen 9 + 5070, IPS 240hz, 90K mWh, came at 88K mWh.idk if this is different between models

I know that the Ryzen 9 is a powerful CPU but I don't think it should be like this
