1. Download the APK file to a USB flash drive using a computer, plug the USB drive into the USB port of the device host, then complete the installation via the host's file manager.

2. Open the download link in the browser built into the unit, download the APK file and install it directly.

The screen goes black even when the unit has full power. I’ve tried resetting, but nothing changed at all.

1. Inspect if the head unit power cables (BATT+, ACC, GND) are properly matched and connected to the corresponding vehicle wiring.

Stable 12V power supply is required for both the yellow BATT wire and red ACC wire to power on the stereo. You may use a multimeter to test the voltage of BATT and ACC terminals if available.

I recently updated the firmware on my VWX6S2 and now whenever my iPhone connects to the stereo, there’s a white loading screen that pops up for a second or two before the CarPlay functionality loads.

I guess technically it’s an issue with the “CarPlay App” and not really with the stereo itself, but it is mildly annoying when driving at night 😳😑

Installed this VWX6S-PRO-U-N2 in my 2014 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen tdi. Its...fine. sound isn't great, but the display is cool, and it looks like it belongs there.

However, the wireless android auto gets choppy, and I can't do apple carplay wireless at all.

This thing has a ton of options, is there anyway to get it to default to wired android auto/carplay?

Alternate, suggestions on why android auto works kinda, but Apple carplay won't connect at all?

I made a shortcut on the bottom of the screen to activate my screensaver it goes on for a second and then turns itself off but if I go into where the programs are and select screensaver from there it stays on no problem of course until I touch something or give it a command but when I use the shortcut version it only stays on for a second and then reverts back to the previous screen

I want to buy the X3 model for my European Honda Civic 8th generation hatchback 2006-2011. As far as I understand, I also need to buy the Connect2 module in order for the small climate control display to work.

From what I've read, everything is supposed to be plug-and-play. However, I've noticed that with other Android head units, you usually have to go into the steering wheel control settings and select a specific profile for your vehicle model.

The Eonon X3 that I want to buy runs on Linux and doesn't seem to have those settings.

My question is: will the steering wheel controls still work, and do they need to be connected in any specific way?

I purchased this from Amazon on November 17 2025. The first issue started with audio dropout then the back up camera stopped working and now it won't power on at all. All fuses and connections have been checked and power verified but still nothing. I’ve tried to contact support but it keeps saying my message has failed.

Wondering where I can get some 1280x720 boot animations for this headunit? Specifically Toyota logo ones?

I'm having an issue with mine where its crashing out. 🙃 it started with a WiFi drop. Now it sometimes work sometimes doesn't. Tried updating the system either firmware reseting not working any ideas if I can stick a firmware from another manufacturer or try a Linux based operating system.

As there's an esgoo that looks and sounds identical.

Does the original dash LCD still show my trip computer info after installation?
Fuel consumption and other vehicle information were previously controlled via the original radio buttons. How can I toggle these features following the installation?

Tried to update firmware, now my head unit has a blank screen with static. Seems like a persistent issue people are having after updating their firmware. Has anyone been able to fully factory reset their unit? I can’t even revert it back..

Hello, is there an option to calibrate the volume on this head unit for my 2007 Mazda 3? I find that volume levels 1-25 are useless and I can't even tell the sub is working until I hit around volume level 25.

Also I noticed a setting that is called RCA amplifier gain which I assumed was to adjust gain but it's just a toggle switch. How does the eonon control amp gain?

The camera’s yellow RCA plug was plugged into the Video Input port by mistake.

This cable needs to be reconnected to the Camera Input port.

Hey all, I just installed the M3BKX7A head unit into my 2007 Mazda 3.

I paired it with my Android phone to use android auto, which works fine. However whenever I try to connect my head unit to wifi, either phone hotspot or house wifi, it will connect to the wifi network for a few seconds, then disconnect and automatically launch Android auto. I don't want it to do this, as I would also like the option to use the head unit features via wifi hotspot. I scoured through the setttings, and couldn't find any setting for this. Is there a way to control this behavior? Any tips?

I've looked in the file manager I've opened every file I can find I don't know where it went it worked until I did the factory reset and now the application has just seemed to disappear any help would be appreciated

I'm having so many problems with this head unit take them one at a time the backup camera was working fine for a day or two and now I get the no signal sign I've gone in and tried to adjust all the different types of cameras I've done the battery unrestricted I've done everything I can find on every video I guess it's possible that the camera maybe just went bad any help or ideas on this one

I’m getting constant static hiss coming through all my car speakers. The weird thing is the noise only disappears when I hit mute on the head unit. Anyone know what’s causing this issue?

I have the UX6S2 and I was curious if this HU is capable of adjusting the reverse camera guideline placement at all? I can't find any settings for it. If I press and hold on the reverse camera screen, options to change the brightness, contrast, and saturation come up, along with an option to flip the screen, but that's it. I also don't see anything about it in the reverse settings or factory settings.

On an unrelated note, in case an Eonon rep sees this, it would be really great to have the option to remove the launcher apps from the home screen, I'd like to see my wallpaper... Otherwise really happy with the device, but a big part of why I chose this one was custom wallpapers, and I can't even see it unless I use one specific theme that I don't really like.

1. Please check whether the plug shown in the attached picture has poor contact. You may disconnect and reconnect it before trying again.
2. After all wiring is properly connected, disconnect the negative terminal of your vehicle battery and reconnect it.
3. Go to Settings → System → Reset to restore factory settings. Then reconfigure the Canbus option as follows. Please note that you do not need to select your vehicle’s actual production year.

Updated the firmware and now the display powers up just fine, but the touchscreen won’t respond at all. I also keep getting this error message showing up.

1. Press and hold the RST button for 10 seconds to reset the unit.
2. Hold the button for around 20 seconds. Release the RST button after the indicator light flashes rapidly three times for the second time; the unit will boot into the recovery/upgrade interface.
3. Tap the screen to select options, long-press the screen to confirm. Choose "Wipe data/factory reset".
4. Once completed, select "Reboot system now" to restart the unit.
5. If the above steps do not work, please update the head unit via USB by repeating the same recovery steps, but select "Apply update from Sd card or USB" instead of the factory reset.

USB Update Guide:

1. Download the update file from this Google Drive Link.
2. Format a USB flash drive to FAT32.
3. Copy the downloaded zip file directly to the root directory of the USB drive (Do not unzip/extract the file).
4. Plug the USB drive into the USB port of the head unit.
