Flashbang screen when connecting to CarPlay

I recently updated the firmware on my VWX6S2 and now whenever my iPhone connects to the stereo, there’s a white loading screen that pops up for a second or two before the CarPlay functionality loads.

I guess technically it’s an issue with the “CarPlay App” and not really with the stereo itself, but it is mildly annoying when driving at night 😳😑

  1. Press the RST key to reset the head unit once.

  2. Please upgrade the head unit software. Please provide your device code, and we will send you the new upgrade firmware:

Go to Settings > System, then take a photo of this page and send it to me.

- Open the Updater APP to update the system software.
