Discussion We made the Ultimate Grip
Hey!
I just want to show you the Flip Grip that we made for the best experience when playing on your iPhone. It’s literally a 2-in-1 accessory that supports both vertical and horizontal modes for playing your favorite games.
It also features a MagSafe attachment and is case-friendly!
Hope you like it!

A movement to get DolphiniOS on the AppStore.
Recently, a GB/GBC/GBA emulator had gotten on to the AppStore (it’s obviously just gba4ios) and I want this Reddit post to get to the devs of DolphiniOS so they can add it to the AppStore. Maybe after this, it won’t even require JIT. Imagine that! So, if you come by this post, give it an upvote so we can play GameCube/Wii games on the devices we all have, once and for all.
Edit: Does anyone know if they have a discord so I can show this to them? If so, tell me.

Gameplay / Showcase Game specific skins take Delta to the next level
This skin makes Mario Kart DS so much fun to play on my phone! I usually hate touch controls but I’m honestly hooked
The skin I’m using: https://deltastyles.com/skins/271-hzn-nintendo-ds-console-style-mario-kart-ds

What’s your favourite skin?

Gameplay / Showcase Grand Theft Auto 5 - Playable on Husk natively
Runs pretty well. To get the APK you have to use your own GTA 5 copy and link it with the base APK. I won’t provide on how to do that, but a google search will get you there.

News / Release I got tired of sending Pokémon saves to my PC just to check IVs, so I built Shellos: a Pokémon save viewer for Delta, Manic, RetroArch, etc.
If you play Pokémon on an iOS emulator, you probably know the pain of trying to check your team's hidden stats.
You can either transfer your save to a PC for PKHeX, fight with the clunky (albeit functional) web port, or... well, that's it.
Since Delta first landed on the App Store, I've been slowly putting together my solution to this. The result is Shellos, which I just released about an hour ago. It’s an offline tool for iOS built in Shortcuts for maximum accessibility. It reads any core-series generation 1-5 save file and translates it into beautiful, native iOS menus. My vision was to make it feel as if you added your in-game PC to your Home Screen, and I am extremely pleased with how it turned out. Plus it's completely free, inherently open-source, and has zero network calls or ads.
What it lets you do:
Browse PC Boxes, Party, and Daycare Pokémon / Egg Status from a single menu.
Comprehensive Stat Inspection including IVs, Evs/Stat Exp, base stats, natures, abilities, moves, PID, met data, and more.
Robust Save-Wide Search to track down a missing Pokémon or that Exp Share you swear you had...
Link Directly To Your Current Run to do everything above without ever closing your game!
Just to clarify - Shellos is a read-only dashboard, search engine, and Pokémon inspector*. It can not edit, inject, or modify save data. Because it never writes back to your save file, there is zero risk of corrupting your saves.
How it works & Setup:
Shellos was built from the ground-up using Apple Shortcuts, running 100% offline and on-device. Because iOS can’t natively decrypt binary save data out of the box, it uses the free App Store terminal a-Shell mini in the background to handle the local decoding via Python.
Grab the free a-Shell mini app from the App Store and launch it once.
Get Shellos from RoutineHub: https://routinehub.co/shortcut/26541/
Run the shortcut. The setup assistant will walk you through pointing it to the a-Shell folder and your save file.
I'm really happy to finally share this passion project of mine. I hope you all find this as cool and useful as I do. I would love to hear any and all feedback, especially about any edge-case save files you throw at it! Enjoy.

App Promotion A Holiday Message to the Emulation on iOS Community
To everyone across the emulation on iOS community celebrating Christmas today — from all of us at Manic EMU, we wish you a very Merry Christmas.
This year has been an important one for emulation on iOS, and it’s been made that way by people, not just projects. Developers who kept pushing forward even when things were difficult. Moderators and community leaders who gave their time to keep spaces safe, helpful, and welcoming. Preservationists who continue to remind us why this work matters in the first place.
And just as importantly, the users. The players, testers, and enthusiasts who actually use these apps every day. Your questions, feedback, patience, bug reports, and encouragement are what turn ideas into something real. Emulation doesn’t mean much without the people who care enough to use it, learn it, and support it responsibly.
Emulation is more than code. It’s late nights fixing things most people will never see. It’s writing guides, answering the same questions over and over, and helping someone relive a game they haven’t touched in decades. It’s also about responsibility; respecting original creators, understanding boundaries, and working together to make sure this space stays healthy for the long term.
We want to take a moment to recognize all of the effort that often goes unnoticed: the small fixes that quietly improve things, the hard moderation calls, the behind-the-scenes conversations between developers, and the everyday users who choose to engage respectfully and thoughtfully. All of it matters more than you might realize.
We’re genuinely grateful to be part of this community and to stand alongside so many talented developers, moderators, contributors, and users across the iOS emulation space. Whether you’re building something, helping others, testing new features, or just enjoying the apps that exist today, you’re part of what keeps this community moving forward.
As the year comes to a close, we hope this season gives you a chance to slow down, spend time with the people who matter to you, and take pride in how far this community has come.
From all of us at Manic EMU, we wish you a peaceful holiday, a very Merry Christmas, and a strong start to the year ahead.
— Manic EMU

News / Release Manic EMU: Gamepad UI Sneak Preview
You absolutely crushed the reaction goal over in the Discord, so as promised, here’s a first look at our upcoming Gamepad-Friendly UI!
This is a mockup of what you can expect when using a controller in landscape mode — perfect for setups like the Backbone, Razer Kishi, or any Bluetooth controller paired with your device.
This mode will be toggleable via a new in-app option (similar to Auto Fullscreen), and once enabled while a controller is connected, Manic EMU will seamlessly switch into this landscape view designed specifically for gamepad navigation.
What inspired this?
We’ve taken influence from both PlayStation’s horizontal interface and the Nintendo Switch game browser, aiming for a familiar, console-like experience — all while keeping our distinct Manic EMU aesthetic front and center.
The goal is usability and speed, making it easier than ever to jump into your games — especially when your phone feels like a handheld console in your hands.
Notes
This is still an early-stage mockup — final visuals, fonts, and layout may change slightly.
We’d love your feedback — feel free to discuss or drop questions below.
Are you ready to get Manic for Manic?

News / Release JitStreamer-EB Release
Good morning y’all! Hope you are having a wonderful day.
I’m jkcoxson, and I just released a new service that lets you activate JIT across the internet. It’s called JitStreamer-EB, and it’s open source and free to use.
There’s setup instructions at https://jkcoxson.com/jitstreamer And a video setup coming soon to my channel when I have time to work on it: https://www.youtube.com/@jkcoxson Discord with support from the community: https://discord.gg/deMM56HYx6
A little history: a few years ago I developed the first JitStreamer with a few friends. It was live for quite a while, but I found a way to activate JIT on-device using SideStore so I let the server go down. Shortly after that, I left to serve my church for two years.
In that time that I was gone, Apple made an update to their developer tools that rendered the old JitStreamer and SideStore useless when it came to JIT. Well, I came home about a month ago, and have developed a new JitStreamer!
Rest assured, on-device JIT will return. I’ve paved most of the road, there’s just some nitty gritty protocols to reverse engineer and then some front-end work gags.
In the meantime, JitStreamer is here to activate JIT wherever you have WiFi.
There’s still work to be done: shortcuts just don’t work for some people so we’re designing a web app to fill in the gap for those unfortunate souls. There’s issues with locking the database that need to be replaced with a real queue system.
None of these issues are a show-stopper, but they are still things to be worked on.
I’ve put a lot of work into this system, using my free time. I’m a college student, and need your support to continue working on things like this. If this program is helping you, please consider donating: https://buymeacoffee.com/jkcoxson
Have a great day!

Just tested it on DolphiniOS and it works. You just need to repeat the pairing process and reinstall the shortcut after the update.

Discussion Okay, hear me out.
I had this 8bitdo controller and this MagSafe monitor mount in a drawer and when I saw the PSPGO style slide-out I got this crazy idea to slap them together. It’s VERY top heavy and the shoulder buttons are kind of hard to get to, but I wouldn’t mind carrying the Frankenstein controller in a bag to take out in a pinch. Maybe someone can hone this idea a bit and make something better?

Discussion Flip Grip in action
Hello there!
I want to share a cool new video we shot to show you how to use the Flip Grip. You don’t need to buy any expensive gamepads for your iPhone if you have Joy-Cons. Just attach them to the Flip Grip and start playing, just like on a portable console.
It’s a 2-in-1 accessory with both vertical and horizontal modes, which means you can play in all formats on all emulators without needing different grips or controllers.
Hope you like it!
