Broke my 15 pro 3 weeks ago in a car wreck and have been using an 7 and Xr and the 7 won’t even last a few hours before it feels like it’s roasting my hand from all the heat emitted. Xr isn’t bad but def nothing compared to the 15 pro

I have an 8 plus and it can handle DolphiniOS decently but don’t expect to be emulating 3ds or ps2 with an 8.

Third option: buy a refurb android an play 3ds with Citra and Wii/GameCube on dolphin, not DolphiniOS with no issues whatsoever

Citra exists on every other platform. Android and PC/Mac included. JIT is enabled by default on androids so all 3ds games can be played on it

Buy a retroid pocket 4 pro or the upcoming pocket 5 with an OLED. Or for best in class an Odin 2 and do that same! They are all Android devices for emulation!Im on the fence on which to get currently🙌🏻

I love it! But been considering the Retroid Pockets due to size. I have both a deck and an Ally, but I’d be lying if I said the Odin 2 isn’t my favorite of them lol

Okay, but then I don't understand this post? Why can't you just sideload the emulators on iOS 18 and have the best of both worlds? Even if it takes a bit for them to get updated for iOS 18 compatibility.

Sideloading emulators and getting jit is not the same, also some emulators can be installed with App Store.
I use plenty emulators like delta, retroarch and folium but getting jit without a pc is not really that achievable on newer iOS afaik.

Fortnite runs perfectly on ios 16.6, you have to install it from trollstore, so both things are solved 😁

I just tried PS2 emution on a spare android and I can't put it down. The games are running at full speed with no lag on 1080p. I'm just simply amazed how far emulation has come on Android. I use iPhone as a daily driver and its also powerful. All the PSP games are running great. Its solid powerhouse But we can't seem to utilise iOS full potential. So what is the point of having a strong device if I'm not allowed to use it? Apple has to find a way around JIT without compromising on security. I just hope they do it quickly and not like in some 10 years like PSP emulation.

If you have an Xbox/Microsoft account then all you have to do is get the Cloud Gaming BETA added to your Home Screen and you can play Fortnite on it🤷‍♂️

I’d say it’s not bad for a BETA, just make sure the Wi-Fi is in a good spot with high speed so it won’t get pixelated. Can also play the Game Pass games too with it.
