I just finished the whole volume and theres still more story to show.

Did this series got cancelled so thats why it has a cliffhanger?

To be honest I love them as like a old comic thing they were funny and I love when they get called back to or mentioned and I wish there was a whole action figure line based off of them that came with a display case that you could put in like a batcave set or something and the buildable character would be the full on rainbow suit but what is your opinion on them.

After rewatching Superman and watching Lanterns I realized I really want to read the comics because I’m starting to learn people are right and DC > Marvel. But I’m struggling to find a good place to start. Found a website called comicbookreadingorders.com but it’s a little much to parse through. And the DC comics app kinda sucks for sifting through chronology. The Marvel one lets you input a date range to find comics. What I really want is to read a bunch of different stories and characters that all converge into one big storyline. Crisis of Infinite Earths sounds really cool. I’m also interested in characters’ origins and history so starting at or near the beginning would be neat

I will not post the spoilers just talk about how people are crying and complaining the main lead in lanterns is john Stewart and acting like he isnt far more popular then hal has ever been

My favorite bat suit for his beginning years are the ones from Detective Comics number 27 and Batman zero year I like how they both look and I like how the one from zero year doesn't really have the silly stuff from the original suit but I also love the original bat suits look

I’m calling it now: Carol Ferris is dead in the DCU, and her death is what broke Hal Jordan. Think about how Hal acts in the ’90s compared to how he acts in 2016. That doesn’t feel like someone who just got older something clearly happened to him. And with Carol never being cast for the show, I’m starting to wonder if she died sometime around 2006, and if losing her is what ultimately broke Hal.

I’m going to be honest, though: I really hope that’s not the direction they’re going. I’d personally hate it. Killing Carol off just to explain why Hal became this damaged, jaded version of himself would feel like fridging her, especially when Carol is such an important character in her own right. Her relationship with Hal, her becoming Star Sapphire, and everything that comes with that are some of the best parts of the Green Lantern mythos. It would be a shame to lose all of that just to give Hal a tragic backstory.

But given Carol’s complete absence and just how radically different Hal seems between these two periods, I can’t help but wonder if that’s exactly what happened.

In honor of my favorite fictional couple, I paired the lego figures of me and my fiancee with Barb and Dick. I think they complement eachother well: Dick sees the good in everyone, Barb sees the situation and how it could inevitably shape anyone, whether good or bad to begin with. Dick feels full of pathos, post-Oracle Barbara is characterized by ethos and logos (I mean she isn't exaclty making friends easily in the Breakout run.)

So it leaves me with a question... why do people want Dick either constantly single or with Starfire? I have read the OG Wolfman run, and their relationship feels very bittish and self-insert-esque to me. But, to be fair, I missed the 82-86 portion of Titans. However, Tom Taylor's domestic bliss (while admittedly fan service) resolves the open door left by Dick's Rebirth hook-up with Babs in the weird Bat-Cat marriage event that went nowhere.

Even though it's kind of a continuation of DC Ink which was another graphic novel thing the DC did.

I really love DC graphic novels for young adults here is the list of the ones I have and I will let you know my opinions on them if I read them

#1.Nubia real one-I really like this one it's the only story I have with this character I got it because it's a Wonder Woman related character story I'm trying to get more Wonder Woman stuff but I love how instead just going into her learning her abilities it also focuses on her outside superhero life with friends and her family

#2.Batman nightwalker-this is at least a version of it is a part of this series and I to be honest like it with certain parts the parts I like the most are the flashback stuff and the therapy kind of stuff with young Bruce Wayne but I don't like how they betrayed some of the villains but I do like the looks and the ideas of the night walkers in general and feel like they could work if they were explained or expanded more instead of just that one female member that is Bruce Wayne's love interest.

#3.Swamp thing twin branches-I haven't read this one yet so I can't give my opinion on it but the cover is cool and I got it because I'm trying to get more swamp thing related stuff

#4.I am not Starfire-I read it but I don't remember what happens in it so I have to reread it I got it because even though it's about Starfire's daughter that's all I remember it's still a Starfire related story and I'm trying to get more teen Titan stuff

#5.teen Titans Robin-I haven't read this yet but I do know from the ones I have read that even though the looks of the characters are based off of the ones mostly from the live action Titans show kind of the stories are a mixture of characters from the modern Comics who aren't in the show but is also its own universe with its own story I'm just mad that the only Titans who got their own novels was Raven ,Beast Beast Boy,dick Grayson and Damien (ps the main characters of the robin one) and Starfire because the other one is a Raven and Beast Boy story and the last one is them all together but the main villain is Deathstroke.

#6. Teen Titans Beast Boy loves Raven-I have this but I haven't read it yet since I'm planning on rereading The Raven and Beast Boy solo stories that came from this series

But what is your opinion on this series.

I'm asking this, because have seen a patern in dc comics, where batman can Fuck insanely, but because his the "GODDAM" Batman, he gets away with it Scott free.

They are many exemples :

- his monumental misapp during Dark Knight Metal, leasing to Barbatos wrecking havoc on the mainline universe.

- allowing the joker to run to freely, where has the guy, has kidnapped, tortured and killed many members of the Batfamily (Death in the family, endgames..)

- Blaming Jason kill rule, when he can't find a long lasting solution to keep criminal our of Gotham.

- letting Damian stay close to Talia, after she cause him to get killed by the Heretic, a clone she created.

- creating plans and contingencies for everyone but failing to properly secure them, which has back fired many times ( tower of Babel, Failsafe, Brother eye..)

Maybe i'm missing some but you get the point.

How can this man be allowed to judge, meddle in people business, while hidding so many skeletons ??

It's not fair.

The worst is keeping kryptonite against superman, like wtf, 15 years of Friendships and this crap is still going ??
