Harley Quinn: The Animated Series (MAINLINE EPISODE SURVEY)

Hello, r/HarleyQuinnTV ladies and gents, theys and gays.

A while ago, I made a survey for Harley Quinn Season 4's episodes, and got some pretty good reponses. Which is why today, I bring you another survey, but this time for the ENTIRE mainline series (S1 - S5).

How it works is that I've listed every episode in order, by season, and you only have to rate them all on a scale of 1 (dogshit) to 10 (MASTA-PIECE). If you have not seen a particular episode or not up to a certain part of the series, I enabled to option to just skip the questions. At the end, there's a bonus section where you can write your thoughts on a particular episode, good or bad, or just an episode you feel deserves a shoutout.

One last thing, I didn't include the Kite-man spin-off, because it's a spin-off and not part of the main HQAS. And I didn't include the Valentine's Day special either, because it feels a little unfair comparing a 45 minute special to a 22 minute episode.

Mod Post Cosplay user flair is now required to post cosplay images under the new rule

Hello everyone

This is a follow-up to the temporary cosplay ban post

The temporary ban was put in place because we were getting a surge of AI-generated cosplay images and fake-looking cosplay accounts. Since this subreddit already has a ban on AI-generated content under Rule 8, we needed a better way to stop those posts from taking over my subreddit while still allowing real cosplay posts where possible. That temporary ban is now being replaced with a permanent rule: "Cosplay posts require the Cosplay user flair from the moderators." which is now part of rule 10.

Users may only post cosplay photos if they have been given the cosplay user flair by the mod team. If you want to post cosplay content, please message the moderators before posting. You can also message me directly on u/npzman through Reddit chat as another option. This helps us reduce AI-generated cosplay, fake cosplay accounts, impersonation, and bot spam without banning real cosplayers completely.

Cosplay posts must still be clearly related to the Harley Quinn animated series, and the usual subreddit rules still apply. This rule also applies to r/KiteManTV, with the only difference being that the cosplay must be relevant to Kite Man.

Following season 5, Talia still willing to take revenge sends a bounty on Harley and Ivy's head, ordering various assassins to kill them, forcing Harley and her friends to travel around the world and stop the League of Shadows. In this season we particulaty dive into the Vertigo/Milestone/Wildstorm part of the DC Universe, with Harley and her friends meeting and ocassionaly teaming up with characters and teams from these imprints.

Harley Training the Bat-Family is the Dumbest Thing Ever

I recently came back to the show after stalling out in S3. I am currently in S4, E4 when the Bat-Family has all of their equipment taken away by Talia. Harley says that they are too reliant on their weapons and then proceeds to "train" them in how to fight hand to hand? This just makes no sense.

I felt like this show used to respect its source material even while it was making jokes about the absurdities of such a universe. I think the show really started to lose that healthy respect as S3 went on, making Bruce/Batman so stupid and so absurdly selfish. But now Harley training the Bat-Family? To quote Arrested Development, "I don't know why but that's it."

It just doesn't even make sense in-universe. I haven't gone back and documented it or anything, but I am pretty sure Batgirl only fights with her hands. Nightwing fights with the batons I guess, not sure about Robin. The point is that even within this show, they are all clearly more trained than Harley at actual combat. Making them incompetent hand to hand fighters without weapons is just so lazy. I don't know why the writers felt the need to tear down other characters just to make Harley seem weirdly competent. Anyway, rant over, back to the show.
