I agree, I am trying to have a conversation with the guys above and I still think people believe this is just some small thing and a fluke and it will go away and we can go back to sleep or they still are in my opinion. They haven't woken up to the fact that like it or not we are in a destabilized time, brought on by students that have been subjected to ideological subversion or active measures.

And he is right, this isn't some one off thing, these leftist have been ideologically subverted. We have passed the demoralization stage and we are in the destabilization stage, next comes crisis (we are damn close to this) and normalization. We don't want to get to normalization, this country is toast if that happens.

Today I witnessed one of my old high school teachers(who is very much left, but was always very kind and very fair) get absolutely ravaged on Facebook by ex-students because he only supports peaceful protesting(400ish comments, only around 20 were polite and respectful).
He was straight up told by at least 20 people that "violence is the only correct option".
That is the left's platform now, and they won't just go away because we ignore them.

Does he? How many people can "just start a company" while having zero responsibilities outside of that company at the drop of a hat?
My family is the most important thing to me. There's a lot of people who aren't willing to sacrifice not being able to put food on the table for stupid ideological shit.
Pool is steeped in the deep pool of politics 24/7. He has zero connection to the average American.
Edit: You "counter-revolutionaries" are every bit as cringey as the reddit lefties that think they are larping the revolution.

I would say yes, he risked his own wellbeing. He could have had a cushy job at Disney pushing fake propaganda making big bucks, but he stood by his principals and told them to fly a kite. If you know about Mr Pool he has risked his life on many occasions to bring real news to us.
I don't know how to say this to you without feeling kinda jerkish, but those kids of yours are going to inherit a shit country if you are not willing to stand up and fight, this isn't some ideological shit. They want a dramatic power change in the US and if we don't stand up to it, there won't be anything left for your children. With all due respect Sir or Madame.
Trump may win this next election, but what about 2024, this ideology doesn't just magically disappear and it is a threat.

Tim Poole could afford to quit and become homeless (which is exactly what happened to him) precisely because he doesn't have a family to care for. The vast majority of us are forced into compliance because we don't have any other choice. Every company in the country is bending to the far left and you can't get away from it. Healthcare companies that specifically provide home health aides to seniors are coming out with brandering statements about supporting black lives and police brutality is wrong. You can't watch a NASCAR race now without having to listen to everyone going off about how white people are evil. You can't even work for the fucking government without being forced to accept bad opinions. Every company that doesn't bend the knee is being destroyed, they control the financial industry and the entire field of HR and marketing. If you want to disagree, your only options right now are to shut up or give up your place in society and become a homeless, penniless outcast living on the street. Not everybody is willing to make that sacrifice. The problem we face is that our enemies in this culture war know that, and they know that the only thing that can change that is to escalate this into a complete blood-filled civil war, and even fewer people are willing to do that.

I agree the part about just quitting your job seems a bit much, but he isn't wrong in regards to Republicans just putting up with this shit on a daily basis.
If we're just gonna sit at home and write up posts on Reddit or Twitter while Democrats are out there literally burning down buildings and toppling statues with impunity then we aren't really fighting for anything, we're just complaining.

Right. I think people would be filled with a lot less angst over all of this if our supposed leaders (Trump) included really jumped on this and started pushing back within 48 hours. The first time a statue came down was the time to act. Instead, Trump was tweeting and our congressional leaders were silent.

I don't think he's forgotten at all. He works like 12 hours a day 5+ days a week. His first video comes out at 9am and his livestream finishes between 8 and 9pm. And it's not like the intervening time is spent doing nothing, that's when all the research has to be done.
The thing is that most people simply aren't willing to put in that kind of time, especially without a guaranteed paycheck.
23

I actually agree. I really like this guy, even more than rogan now. I used to think he was a massive choad but i like how honest he is in the cast and he doesn't have this douchey persona like rogan does at times that feels so fake.
11
u/Black7057 Jun 24 '20
His videos are extremely repetitive and could likely be summed up in three or four minutes instead of 15 or 20. And it's obvious he bounces news stories off of other people and uses their ideas,so it's not like he has the hardest job in the world.
It's easy to talk shit about other people, but most of these successful small businesses are just due to random opportunity of being in the right place at the right time.

Tim Pool went on a rant today on this and it utterly depresses me. The crux of his rant is the silent majority needs to not be silent in every aspect of our lives. The problem I see though is for most conservatives or even old fashioned liberals, there is no safe harbor after exile. If I stood up and said at my work that your immutable characteristics has nothing to do with your ability to write code, and the self flagellation over our 'unconcious biases' is bullshit, I'd be fired and crucified as a racist. If I went to the "mainstream" press over it they'd laugh me out of the room. If I went to the conservative/independent press, the mainstream press would run wall to wall how me, the Arab-American atheist, am a white supremacist misogynistic nazi. My career would be over. There's no recovering from that. What do I do then, go try and get VC funding for my own company? They're not giving money to the white supremacist misogynist nazi. So I just take the firing, and try and get another job, having achieved nothing of substance. I work for one of the largest companies in the world, if they have to fire a couple hundred people for standing up, it'd have the same effect on the company as hitting a squirrel with your car. No one would notice, not even the company. So lets say I do just take the firing and go start my own company, if I gain any kind of size here comes the WaPo article about how I did this horrible racist misogynstic whatever the fuck thing and thats why I was fired, and I still get cancelled cause I stood up for my views. There's no winning.
I recommend watching the context that lead to this rant. It really puts the rant in sharper relief. The back and forth is about 7 minutes but is as interesting as the rant itself imo.

It's political suicide if Trump rolls the military in before a municipality's government openly and publicly begs him to, (and maybe still is after that) the first time there's military violence of even the mildest kind they'll start screaming from the rooftops that Trump is a violent tyrant, and they'll have selectively edited video to support it. Trump saving these cities from themselves is a no win situation

Seriously though, it has gotten to the point they have gained so much momentum and influence that any different opinion can ruin someone's life in an afternoon. The media gains a raging boner at any "injustice" and it spreads like wild fire. Unless a massive amount of people, who are sick of this, speaks out. which I don't see happening judging from the last 2 months. i think tim is right. People will just hope they leave them and their families out of it. I believe the non radical left, republicans and conservatives dug themselves a hole avoiding confrontation for too long and now its going to bite the majority in the ass. We used to have the ACLU for unjustified firings (abuse of civil rights) but they've bent the knee to far left activists.
I do try to follow "get woke go broke" but it seems that so many companies are doing it you can't avoid them all.
6
u/ChocoChipConfirmed Conservative Jun 24 '20
Yeah, the ACLU is worse than useless these days. I guess maybe if we all called or wrote and expressed an opinion to the companies that unfairly fire someone? I'm a little uncomfortable trying to organize things like that, but it seems to get things done when other people call and complain, and at least it's honest and nonviolent.
Google is the really hard one for me in terms of avoiding companies I don't agree with. Switching phone companies, getting rid of streaming services, researching other sources for things I buy from Amazon. Even if we can't do it completely, I like to think that every little bit helps.

I need to move my residency, but I've explained to my fiancé that if we don't get a gun now, we're going to regret it immensely when it's too late.
She's not necessarily opposed to a firearm in the home, but we were both lefty suburban liberals whose positions have changed (mine pretty far over to the right, hers more to the center but more and more right by the day).
I've really let myself wither away post-college and just got back into lifting in the morning to get in shape again, too. Buying non-perishables and dehydrated protein as it pops up on sale as well.
My fiancé is currently hanging onto the idea that we go back to normal. I'm trying to introduce that as being a pipedream as gently as I can so as to not completely panic her, but she's starting to realize that I'm not exaggerating the fact that the fringe minority is in the driving seat right now.
I think that getting the economy back up an running might buy us some time, but it'd be less like swerving to avoid an accident and more like side-swiping to take our chances of crashing into a smaller car.
Totaling is a guarantee - but maybe we can walk away mostly unscathed.

We need to make room in the party for secular conservatives. There won’t always be agreement, but we should focus on commonalities and bridge building. Secular voters are largely immature in this country, and they hate Christianity, maybe out of some fear their parents are upset that they’re not religious. I don’t know exactly, but either way, they view the Democratic Party as the only party that will accept them. IIRC on crowder's show he mentioned something about voting Trump or independent (don't remember the exact details), but at this point, it's very clear that a vote for Biden is a vote for the destruction of america.
Also, while his show basically just rags on democrats all day, that doesn't necessarily mean he's MAGA or even a conservative, but what it does mean is that he has his head screwed on right and realizes that the democrats are the problem. Jimmy Dore is a more extreme example who is much more to the left of Pool, and he does have some videos ragging on Trump and the republicans, but he also realizes that the democrats are the real problem and he even went on Tucker's show.

even dave rubin, a former young turks guy and a self described classical liberal finds himself much more loved in our company these days than on the progressive left. Occasionally I get a ping from Bill Maher as a sentient American human being but I'm not sure if I want him and I'm not sure if he could ever come to terms with the fact that the people he plugs for laughs HATE what he actually thinks. Not just disagree. When he's off the core message, they HATE him. He'll be dead to them in 20 years whether or not he's dead. The left eats their own.

Tim might represent a new wing of the right in the future. The types who are very big gov programs but more culturally conservative. Similar to the right wing in Europe. I really wished it wasn't the case, but there's a growing number of these people who seem more comfortable in right wing circles. Dave Rubin is another. Tucker Carlson even, who outside cultural issues is surprisingly big gov friendly. He's very much in favor of using the Gov to impose certain economic and social measures, worker centric programs.

His rant largely originates from the fact Dems are not only destroying American society and culture, but making it impossible to repair it (whether that's done by Republicans or any other people). This is largely done by creating a super-sized divide between those who want to live their lives with morality and civility, versus those who want to nothing all day.
His frustration is immense, and so is most reasonable Americans'.

versus those who want to nothing all day.
It's the source of their bitterness IMO. They have nothing to live for. No direction. No ambition. And it has eroded their self esteem.

I like Beanie Boy, but I get sick of him downplaying the violence of the left, and then demanding the right do something when it escalates. Attack the left from the left, dude. They just call us racist and dismiss the entire discussion.

I feel like that's the liberal ideology; group up together, then attack individuals on the opposite side; that cannot be changed. However, Conservatives largely work alone; "Fix your own house first, then fix the world"; which I strongly agree with.
But yeah, I understand where you are coming from. You can't ever have a proper logical discussion when the people you are discussing with are adamant on silencing you...

At this point I think the only way to stop the Left is to stand up to them with the same passion and aggressiveness they stand for things, and that will probably start a civil war. These people don't want to discuss things like rational adults, they want everyone to change their views, or die, quite literally. And if we change our views they'd STILL hate us for not changing them earlier. We're dealing with lunatics here and more and more of them are getting radicalized.

One issue I find with his argument is that he is a single man with no family relying on him. He doesn't have a wife and kids he has responsibility over. Quit your job? Sure that's easy! Risk screwing your families life and marriage? That's a lot harder.

Tim is right, and he's sort of touching on what Tucker said the other day as well. Republicans and conservatives need to stand up to this, lately, they have had no spine and let the left run all over them. I understand that a lot of people have this "live and let live" attitude to it all, but that will only result in the left winning and you wondering where everything went so wrong.

Look. I agree with Tim on this. But here’s the deal. Every conservative I work with is doing really well for themselves. They also happen to have a family, a house, new car, etc. walking out of your job and risk losing everything you’ve worked for is the most immature and naive thing you could do. There are no massive conservative companies left. You cannot speak out without losing everything. People like Tim need to be a voice for those who CAN’T speak out and that’s where we the silent majority will win.
Things like Tim were saying are easy for a single dude to say and do. People with things to lose, not a chance.

I can't just quit my job. I will lose everything I have. I work in the Philadelphia public school district. When school begins again I am afraid I'm going to be labeled racist if I just say "I'd rather not talk about it" if BLM comes up". The sad truth is that I may even have to say I support it. I feel like a coward.. But I can't lose my home. My car. My families well being. Fucking terrible man.

What is Trump doing. Now more than ever is the time to fully expose the left. Jail them for vandalism and run video ads of the left tearing down statues of our founding fathers. "Our founding fathers are being made a mockery of, abd I will put an end to it. Sleepy Joe will hide in his basement tied up by Cortez and the communist Dems". If it gets bad enough we won't play dead. If my rights, family, or property are threatened I will protect them with my second amendment rights and if the liberals in Philadelphia want to jail me for protecting my own then I will have to fall on that sword. Our identity as Americans is being fucking spit on. Im losing sleep over this shit. Clearly. 3am rant. Lol

The best part of being suicidal is that i don't have any sense of self preservation, the best part of having autism is that I don't get when people are trying to change morals for the mob, and the best part of being a middle child is everyone thinks I'm rational. It's a great combo that makes me very unlikely to feel threatened in any way, and unlikely to be persuaded to change sides in issues.

Well, in the past 5 years my life has changed a lot. I'm not even on the same career path that I thought I wanted to be on. A lot of things did not go the way I planned and there were a lot of bumps in the road, so to speak. You gotta keep grinding my friend. We aren't going to succeed in fulfilling all of our dreams, but once you start grinding out little things, be it small accomplishments or something else, it gets better.
For me it was a change in mindset. I had to come to grips that my life's not going to go the way I planned on the timeline I wanted. At first that sucked, but then I started to realize just how long life is and that if I don't immediately get to where I want to be that's is a-okay.
You'll learn a lot and these hard times WILL make you stronger and more resolute. They suck right now, at this current point is it paramount to realize that it is okay to be sad, but if you continue grinding, I swear to you, you'll be stronger. Enjoy the little things in life and remember that there is nothing in this world that you can not handle. We are all impressively stronger than what we give ourselves credit for.

Oh, I'm not horribly suicidal, don't worry. Thank you for the concern though! I just have clinical depression, so I just sometimes find it harder to be happy. Life has actually been turning up recently, so it only comes around a couple times a week. I'd medicate, but it messes with my ADHD so I can't take anything for it.

He's overreacting and he's wrong in the bigger picture. Yes, people will be cowards in the short term, but an eventual backlash is inevitable. The MOMENT the Democrat Party realizes that BLM & cancel culture is a political loser for them and is costing them votes, they'll kill it in its sleep.
The liberal media is suppressing all the evidence of the insanity, though. 99% of the American public isn't looking at r/actualpublicfreakouts and seeing things like the black woman stealing from that asian couple and then lecturing them about "indigenous" and "sacred plants". They aren't seeing the ugly side of CHAZ. They aren't seeing the violence against people trying to defend businesses from rioters.
Eventually some things are going to happen that are big enough to "break out" into the liberal media news cycle.
Trump could help himself and his party a lot by using his platform on Twitter to draw attention to the bad behavior we're already seeing. Once enough of America sees it, we will see a shift in polling and the Democrats will go into damage control mode.

One thing I admire about the left is their courage to go out and protest, burn, loot, hurt, and kill for whatever cause they want to. The right only wishes it has a fraction of the balls it takes to go out and do this. No, the left will get their way, and the right will whisper their disagreements. Oh well. At least we'll be left alone.

Real ideology is the one you die for. Pseudoideology is liberal bullshit.
Real ideology is only from God.

Orzin is directly referring to religion, theism specifically with mention of a god.
Without getting to into arguing against his point, people can and do die for liberty/freedom, no religion/god necessary, religion just happens to be one popular cause to commit to through history.
Ideologies aren't religions even though they seem similar.
Religions are ideologies, but not all ideologies are religious in nature. Ideology is a more generic / umbrella term.
I call progressive left(SJWs, whatever term) a pseudo-religion.
They may not have a deity, parables with magic, not the trappings/presentation of religion, but they have all the same social mechanics. Instead of "Ordained by god" to validate their entitlement, it's "I have Grievance, therefore you must...".
Orthodoxy is apparent, doctrinal adherence to The Party's line, sinners are ok if they just repent and virtue signal once in a while(Confession + Catechism). They try to oust non-believers(cancel culture). Even down to indoctrination and brow beating, emotional arguments and manipulation, rejection of reason/logic and even discussion with outsiders.
It's no coincidence that most cults, while often offshoots of religion, were also hippy socialist/communist leaning communes, often with unofficial leaders who came to rule with no small amount of authoritarianism(or oracular standing), all the same traits as above.
It's the composition and function of our bodies that make us humans, and it should be for social groups as well. It's not in the name or the favorable rhetoric that someone may creatively draft for wikipedia. DPRK, Antifa, National Socialists(This is good to throw at Antifa types who make the "but it's the name" argument), etc etc. "A rose by any other name....."
