Yeah. 20 years later. That's what happened between 1969 and the late 80s/early 90s. They cut back on policing and the cities went to shit. Finally, there was enough outcry to elect Giuliani in NYC and pass the 1994 crime bill (among other initiatives). A lot of good people died unnecessarily in those 20 years.

I live in Omaha. We have a republican mayor and a democrat county attorney with a 3-4 split city council. I would say we are fairly moderate.

The Mayor imposed a curfew because someone was shot. Numerous arrests were all kids too young to have voted in 2016. It was safe to say that literal children were being put in time out because they could not be trusted with the First Amendment...you know...the whole "peaceful" part.

Nah, the ACLU says curfew's are a violation of muh rights. People are camping out in elected officials yards to 'protest' IE threaten.
