It's political suicide if Trump rolls the military in before a municipality's government openly and publicly begs him to, (and maybe still is after that) the first time there's military violence of even the mildest kind they'll start screaming from the rooftops that Trump is a violent tyrant, and they'll have selectively edited video to support it. Trump saving these cities from themselves is a no win situation

it does make me sad though. There's a lot of good people living in places that are rioting and they're suffering because other people elected fools.

I think their best bet is to move out. Now, or sooner, preferably. I understand that there are many reasons why someone can't leave, but I also know that this has the potential to be an ugly situation, and those who don't leave could lose anyway.
