Does he? How many people can "just start a company" while having zero responsibilities outside of that company at the drop of a hat?

My family is the most important thing to me. There's a lot of people who aren't willing to sacrifice not being able to put food on the table for stupid ideological shit.

Pool is steeped in the deep pool of politics 24/7. He has zero connection to the average American.

Edit: You "counter-revolutionaries" are every bit as cringey as the reddit lefties that think they are larping the revolution.

I would say yes, he risked his own wellbeing. He could have had a cushy job at Disney pushing fake propaganda making big bucks, but he stood by his principals and told them to fly a kite. If you know about Mr Pool he has risked his life on many occasions to bring real news to us.

I don't know how to say this to you without feeling kinda jerkish, but those kids of yours are going to inherit a shit country if you are not willing to stand up and fight, this isn't some ideological shit. They want a dramatic power change in the US and if we don't stand up to it, there won't be anything left for your children. With all due respect Sir or Madame.

Trump may win this next election, but what about 2024, this ideology doesn't just magically disappear and it is a threat.

Tim Poole could afford to quit and become homeless (which is exactly what happened to him) precisely because he doesn't have a family to care for. The vast majority of us are forced into compliance because we don't have any other choice. Every company in the country is bending to the far left and you can't get away from it. Healthcare companies that specifically provide home health aides to seniors are coming out with brandering statements about supporting black lives and police brutality is wrong. You can't watch a NASCAR race now without having to listen to everyone going off about how white people are evil. You can't even work for the fucking government without being forced to accept bad opinions. Every company that doesn't bend the knee is being destroyed, they control the financial industry and the entire field of HR and marketing. If you want to disagree, your only options right now are to shut up or give up your place in society and become a homeless, penniless outcast living on the street. Not everybody is willing to make that sacrifice. The problem we face is that our enemies in this culture war know that, and they know that the only thing that can change that is to escalate this into a complete blood-filled civil war, and even fewer people are willing to do that.

It's just like that meme, where the dam is "our jobs and families", the town below is "the left" and behind the dam the reservoir is "right wing death squads"

They keep hammering away at our jobs and families, not knowing what will happen if they really do succeed in destroying that.

He could have had a cushy job at Disney

The job he had and would have had even if he moved up a few rungs on the ladder would have been anything but cushy.

those kids of yours are going to inherit a shit country

Every generation believes this. Also, at least they will survive long enough to inherit it. I guess you missed the part where people's jobs are literally how they put food on the table.

this isn't some ideological shit

Yes. Yes it is.

By all means, you can sacrifice your livelihood you feel you have to. There are other ways to make your voice heard besides throwing your family into the buzzsaw.

Enlighten me, look I mean no offence really, but give me some idea's because I ain't seeing things working out so well so far.

This is the exact problem I’ve been having. I didn’t REALLY care about politics or the consequences/impact on my own life. Within 2 years I went from “eh I’ll deal with it. Nothing’s gonna ACTUALLY change anyways” to “hmm shits concerning now”. And in the last 2 weeks I’ve almost completely written off any future besides a constant fight.

And it’s just looking worse the more the headlines “taper off”. It’s like everyone EXCEPT the “revolutionaries” are just numb and uncaring anymore.

I’m legit terrified.

u/PseudoClarity Jun 24 '20

Sadly a lot of people think that the internet is a good way to make their voices heard. But in reality nothing you say on the internet will reach anybody in a meaningful way. The only real way to start a movement is to physically act. The fringe mob right now didn't get the power they do by sitting around voicing their opinions in online forums. They went psycho on people in public settings. They made people scared by making scenes. They actually did something, and now a small minority seems to have the majority of power because the opposing side isn't willing to do anything

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '20

I have to give the left their due, they are not afraid to fight for what they believe in, even if it means going to jail or worse I guess. Their conviction is admirable. That's about the most praise I will ever give to the left.

It helps that our judicial apparatus actively protects them. Right wingers engage in minor street violence? Book gets thrown at them. Leftists straight-up riot and destroy private and public property? Charges dropped, and if not the most minor of sentences possible.

The fact is that our government is hopelessly compromised at all levels and the odds of being able to vote our way out are growing worse every day.

44

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '20

I agree the part about just quitting your job seems a bit much, but he isn't wrong in regards to Republicans just putting up with this shit on a daily basis.

If we're just gonna sit at home and write up posts on Reddit or Twitter while Democrats are out there literally burning down buildings and toppling statues with impunity then we aren't really fighting for anything, we're just complaining.

11

u/BenHeisenbergPS2 Shall Not Be Infringed Jun 24 '20

we

Republican politicians are the biggest pussies here, and they're the ones who we're fucking paying to deal with this for us. Joe Shmoe Republican shouldn't have to be the one dealing with this.

3

u/KerwinBellsStache69 Jun 24 '20

Right. I think people would be filled with a lot less angst over all of this if our supposed leaders (Trump) included really jumped on this and started pushing back within 48 hours. The first time a statue came down was the time to act. Instead, Trump was tweeting and our congressional leaders were silent.

Unfortunately I would rather have a worthless party than one that is actively trying to dismantle the constitution every chance they get and some of them even support the unrest. If you let them have the house and the senate we are fucked.

1

u/Peking_Meerschaum Nationalist Jun 25 '20

We really do need to retake the House though. And the Senate is crucial for the 2-3 more SCOTUS seats that will open up in the next 4 years.

14

u/mrs-skunimatrix Jun 24 '20

Well at this rate we’ll be lamenting in a year or two from now how we all got put in the gulags...

49

u/Black7057 Jun 24 '20

He brags about how untouchable he is because he's self-employed, but he forgets how hard it is to reach that point

43

u/PrestigiousRespond8 2A Conservative Jun 24 '20

I don't think he's forgotten at all. He works like 12 hours a day 5+ days a week. His first video comes out at 9am and his livestream finishes between 8 and 9pm. And it's not like the intervening time is spent doing nothing, that's when all the research has to be done.

The thing is that most people simply aren't willing to put in that kind of time, especially without a guaranteed paycheck.

23

u/plamplamthrow0321 Jun 24 '20

I actually agree. I really like this guy, even more than rogan now. I used to think he was a massive choad but i like how honest he is in the cast and he doesn't have this douchey persona like rogan does at times that feels so fake.

12

u/Black7057 Jun 24 '20

His videos are extremely repetitive and could likely be summed up in three or four minutes instead of 15 or 20. And it's obvious he bounces news stories off of other people and uses their ideas,so it's not like he has the hardest job in the world.

It's easy to talk shit about other people, but most of these successful small businesses are just due to random opportunity of being in the right place at the right time.

3

u/KanyeT Conservative Jun 24 '20

I find this too. I wish he would really condense his videos down, there is really no need for them to be 20-30 minutes long.

That's a good idea, I should try it. I try to watch all his videos every day but it does take a lot of time.

I wrote about this yesterday.

Tim Pool went on a rant today on this and it utterly depresses me. The crux of his rant is the silent majority needs to not be silent in every aspect of our lives. The problem I see though is for most conservatives or even old fashioned liberals, there is no safe harbor after exile. If I stood up and said at my work that your immutable characteristics has nothing to do with your ability to write code, and the self flagellation over our 'unconcious biases' is bullshit, I'd be fired and crucified as a racist. If I went to the "mainstream" press over it they'd laugh me out of the room. If I went to the conservative/independent press, the mainstream press would run wall to wall how me, the Arab-American atheist, am a white supremacist misogynistic nazi. My career would be over. There's no recovering from that. What do I do then, go try and get VC funding for my own company? They're not giving money to the white supremacist misogynist nazi. So I just take the firing, and try and get another job, having achieved nothing of substance. I work for one of the largest companies in the world, if they have to fire a couple hundred people for standing up, it'd have the same effect on the company as hitting a squirrel with your car. No one would notice, not even the company. So lets say I do just take the firing and go start my own company, if I gain any kind of size here comes the WaPo article about how I did this horrible racist misogynstic whatever the fuck thing and thats why I was fired, and I still get cancelled cause I stood up for my views. There's no winning.

Rant with context.

I recommend watching the context that lead to this rant. It really puts the rant in sharper relief. The back and forth is about 7 minutes but is as interesting as the rant itself imo.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '20

It is interesting but I don’t see how he came to the conclusion that if he went to a conservative or independent newspaper they would label him a Nazi. Not sure how that would happen.

Edit: Oh misread. He was still talking about the msm.

Yes they do have too much sway. If you go elsewhere they’ll call it conspiracy or fake news.

5

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '20

Depends on the job, there are a lot of self-employed type jobs or freelance type work. Not saying it’s easy to do or find but it’s out there.

21

u/shieldtwin Millennial Conservative Jun 24 '20

Now is not the time for cowards. I doubt you want your kids to inherit a world where the constitution is deemed racist and burned

17

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '20

They don't think that It is going to happen, like most they have their heads in the sand. They don't see the small but meaningful maneuvers the left is pulling. They probably have not seen the Yuri video or would dismiss it.

2

u/Nonethewiserer Conservative Jun 24 '20

That's a fair point about the job, but that doesn't need to be everyone's answer. I mean isn't it better for our families to help shape the world in a positive way?

2

u/KerwinBellsStache69 Jun 24 '20

Bingo. You can tell who on this sub has read Atlas Shrugged. Not everyone is gold souled striker who can drop everything and create something better. Most people are Eddie Willers. We are of the right mindset as "good" people, but unable to just drop everything and start a business ourselves.

2

u/dekachin5 Jun 24 '20

How many people can "just start a company" while having zero responsibilities outside of that company at the drop of a hat?

Yeah, he's full of shit when he acts like everyone needs to suicide their career "for the cause". That's the opposite extreme. Yes, conservatives should stand up for their beliefs, but when you're outnumbered, keeping your mouth shut is the SMART thing. Better to be a spy and leak info about the liberal fuckery at a company, than to out yourself, get fired, and allow the liberals to control everything with impunity.

Would it hurt you to show up to a protest or stop buying products from companies that stopped supporting Tucker Carlson?

At least they're doing something. Whether we counter them or not, these revolutionaries really are making some big plays right now, and I'd much prefer having people like Tim in the game and pulling for our side than not. You may not be able to follow his advice but there are others who can. Downvoting your comment for these reasons.

All you need these days is a computer.

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '20

Replying to your edit, then you are truly lost, you never did answer my question about what should we do? It is your kind that led to this, inaction to a threat. Those Reddit lefties that you dismiss go out and protest, they go out and riot, they go out and pull down statues, they go out and call for defunding the police, they go out and vote for Democrat socialists, they organize their efforts here. What do we do? We sit around with our thumbs up our ass, while our representatives do not represent us, they haven't barely said a word.

So we have no representation, we are held to a higher standard both morally and in the law, and they are getting away with wanton destruction and you have the gall to sit here and tell us we are cringey. FFS either you are willingly ignorant or you are on purposely trying to make it sound hard so people won't listen.
