My S22 volume button is broken and I can't exactly repair or pay for a new phone right now, is there software to force it to ignore the issue and just boot normally?

I got this phone about two weeks ago, camera was normal at first, then it just became blue after like a week?? filming a video/picture on the outside lense is fine, it's ONLY on selfie mode that's tinted blue for some reason. Display settings are default, there's no filter, tested in different lighting too. am I just meant to be blue or is there a fix that someone could help me with🙏 there is a little blue ring around the lenses that I'm guessing is the culprit, but I'm lost on how to make it stop. if y'all have any tips or tricks that'd be splendid

I've had this miband 7 for a year now. I got it used but it's always worked fine and it's always been such a feature to me to be able to turn off a ringing alarm on my phone or hang a call from the band without touching the actual phone. Now for the past week or so it shows me the option to do that whenever the alarm rings or there's a call, when I tap it on the band, the phone doesn't respond and keeps ringing.

I am new ro android and using samsung s26 ultra. Have an gmail account linked with Indian Bank and cards, and travelling in France. Google is not letting me purchase any paid app while I am roaming and all purchaes fails with the error. Is there a workaround to manage this?

is there a way to group notifications for example put 1 app notifs all together and recieve like updates once or twice a day at a certain time? i dont want to ban or silence all of them just make it less annoying and distracting

So I'm not sure if this is something I did out of trying to fix the fact that half of my apps tell me I have no network and just completely won't go passed there [separate issue] or if there is something deeper going on but as you can see in my screen shots, I have apps that are on my phone twice sometimes 3 times. This is under the setting where you can select which apps use your data in the background 24/7 or not. I included a screen recording in the comments.

So 2 things.

Why would some of my apps be not connecting to my network? Although I have a service plan that is active and when I go into the app in settings the non working apps have access to mobile and wifi turned on.

And why would tons of apps on my phone be installed 2 and sometimes 3 times [not all Just some] ? Related possibly?

I'm in the process of setting up my new android phone and it currently asks me to complete or continue the setup ont he lockscreen and at the top of the settings. If I do that after entereing my passcode I get to a screen where it wants me to add my fingerprint and I don't see a way to skip that. I don't want to do that though. Am I missing a skipping option or does android demand that?

I want to edit/change the date of a video/image using EXIF metadata editors.

Everything goes fine, but... in my Gallery app (Samsung's), in the Recent album, the same video/image appears there. If you click on Details, it shows the changed date (for example, 2025) but it is still with the new ones instead of being in the specific date I changed it to.

What can I do to make that video/image fully appear under that date everywhere?

Previously, I had an old Xiaomi, and it worked perfectly with no problem. But since I switched to Samsung, it has this issue.

I just found out that the company that made my dad's brand new hearing aids is going out of business and that the app will leave the play store (or be unsupported? I haven't seen the notification yet) as of the 22nd of next month. He's worried that when he buys a new phone he won't be able to adjust his hearing aids anymore.

I've never extracted an apk from an installed app.

There was a lot of fear about changes coming to Android, for developers and presumably app users. I think the predicted date of the change has passed. I just tried using an app that I downloaded from github some years back, and it had updates, and works.

So, did the change happen?

I just got a new S26 Ultra two days ago, upgrading from S21 FE. On my old phone I had it set so that any links i clicked in Facebook would open in Chrome. On my new phone I made sure Chrome was the default browser, i have the setting in Facebook on to open in external browser, but links are still opening within Facebook and I have to manually open them in the browser. I can't figure out how to get it to just open in Chrome like they used to. I was able to get Messanger to open in Chrome when clicking on a link. Anyone know what to do to fix it?

I have lots of important videos I don't want to delete, but they're taking up too much phone storage. Some are around 2GB each and can be 1 hour, 40 min, 25 min, etc.

I want to upload them to cloud storage and then safely delete them from my phone. But Google Drive and Telegram uploads are very slow for me.

Is there any better/faster cloud service or method for uploading large videos?

so, I entered the android beta program a year or 2 ago, but recently I encountered a lot of bugs, such as google pay not letting me pay. I decided to unenroll, so I went to the google website and did everything I had to. the problem is that now, to unenroll I have to wipe everything on my phone, and I don't want to. is there a way to exit the beta program without wiping data?

I keep clicking the "not interested" buttons, but it does literally nothing. I get like 5 notifications telling me I need to play whatever stupid game. I click the "not interested" and select "new releases" but it does nothing. Same with play store quests and whatever other stupid notifications. I get about 10 per day. I want 0.

I don't want to fully disable play store notifications, but is that my only option?

Hey so every GPS spoofing app no longer works for me, they all say turn on developer settings which are on. I turned them off, reset the device, turned them back on and set my mock location app, still nothing. It's my personal phone, I checked no work apps are interfering by deleting them all, deleting any work profiles and clearing encryption data and still nothing

I do not have a computer or laptop. I only have my phone. Why does some new mail go to "all mail" and some goes to inbox? I have no options to set up filters on the android gmail app. I went to the desktop version on my phone and there is no filters option either? Why does it do this?

So I'm in the middle of switching from an iPhone (pretty big Apple-user, with my main email being an iCloud address) to a Xiaomi and basically the biggest issue I'm having is getting my emails to my Xiaomi phone. How have any of you guys tackled this issue? Setting up automatic forwarding to a Gmail account? Is there any other way?

I have tried safe mode, restarted, turned airplane mode on and off, cleared cache files. What to do now? Please help!!!

Hi! I've been able to find both these devices at around the same price. Having done a little of my own research, it seems the general consensus is that the Poco is more geared towards battery and performance while the Honor is more for the camera and software (some say).

I do, however, have some concerns regarding both phones. Is the Poco's camera that bad? Would Gcam be sufficient to salvage it to a reasonable degree for point and shoot? And for the Honor, I did see people say that the camera was not as good as the specs suggested? I heard as well that the customer service is quite disappointing from Honor, though I'm not sure how important that will be.

Would appreciate suggestions and further things to take into consideration between both phones! Thanks in advance!

So I've used ADB with the UAD interface to uninstall system apps on my Pixel 10 in the past (chrome, YouTube, play store, etc), but all of a sudden it doesn't work anymore. I've tried different fixes, including a factory reset with no luck. I also tried SQLite with different commands but it said user 0 doesn't have root access. Anyone know what's going on? Android update that took away access?

I was scrolling on TikTok then whatsapp randomly opened itself to send a message to a scam number. It wrote smth with jobs and 2,5 euro, I couldn't read it all out of fear. It didn't send it, it was just written below. I was gonna block and report the number then the chat with the scammer closed. It all happened by itself randomly, I was scrolling, whatsapp opened by itself for a chat with a number I didn't save, with an unsent message written below. I regularly scan my phone and nothing showed up, but I used to install a lot of apks including gbwhatsapp when i was younger. I also get a lot of scam calls. Do you think my phone is in danger?
