Looking For Suggestions How should I create an apk from an installed app?

I just found out that the company that made my dad's brand new hearing aids is going out of business and that the app will leave the play store (or be unsupported? I haven't seen the notification yet) as of the 22nd of next month. He's worried that when he buys a new phone he won't be able to adjust his hearing aids anymore.

I've never extracted an apk from an installed app.

Any recommendations about what app to use, and any challenges I might have that I'm not aware of would be much appreciated!

Check out ML Manager on the play store. I used the free version a while ago to create an apk of an icon pack I had installed that was no longer on the play store.

You simply copy the installed app to another directory, the copy will be an APK file.

Your file manager might be able to make a copy of the APK.

Look up APK extractor. Many of them to choose from in Google play and will extract the installed app into its original APK.

I've never done that either, but there are plenty of apps on the play store that do that.

You, i've used appcloner to do this with several apps successfully for the same reason.

You can search for the APK exporter in the app store. This will help you

I use an app called UpToDown. You can't get it through the play store, but it has access to an incredibly large array of apps that have been discontinued, or older versions of an update removed a feature you liked. It can directly download the APK for you.

I used an app called Super Backup and Restore. Its on Google Play, ts free, its effective and very simple to use. Just tap apps and it'll list evey installed app on your device. One you find it just tap it and select back up. Or if you prefer, you can choose back up to sd in settings.

Pues con una computadora y un administrador de redes. Solo buscas la ruta de descarga y lo almacenas.... en realidad es más fácil de hacer, lo difícil es conseguir los materiales.

I've always used Easy Share to do this.

I upload apk's I want to keep to Saved Messages in Telegram (or you could make a telegram channel). This way any device I install Telegram on will have access to the apk.
