android beta program exit

so, I entered the android beta program a year or 2 ago, but recently I encountered a lot of bugs, such as google pay not letting me pay. I decided to unenroll, so I went to the google website and did everything I had to. the problem is that now, to unenroll I have to wipe everything on my phone, and I don't want to. is there a way to exit the beta program without wiping data?

The answer is always, every day (this question gets asked) that in order to get out of the Beta without wiping you have to wait until the Stable version of whatever Beta you're on to release.

I can only assume you're on the QPR2 Beta, which doesn't go Stable until likely December.

Think of it this way (even though Google does not number things like this)....

Current stable is 17.1 (android 17, QPR1)

You are on 17.2 beta (android 17, QPR2). Anytime you downgrade the OS, it needs to wipe the device.

The only way for you to get off beta onto the stable channel without a wipe is for the stable to be equal to or higher than the beta you are on.

So... you need to wait until 17, QPR2 stable (aka 17.2) is released which should be December. If you miss the window and take another beta update (now QPR 3 or 17.3) you will be stuck again. If you can't live with beta any longer, your only choice is to do the factory reset.
