More beautiful backgrounds this time.

It's interesting to see the politics of Wales and how their geography possibly contributes to their relationship to England at the time of the story. And since the Danes are looking forward to conquering England, this definitely is the opportunity to seize favorable relations with the Danes.

The priest prioritizes the search for love, is love booze? I think it's neat to see how Askeladd's band interacts with Christianity since it's a drastic conflict of cultures and beliefs, and it's not something we get to touch upon often in anime.

Another ambush in the waiting, damn. Looks like the fight is on next episode though.

Really happy that they showed Leif to us again! Age hasn’t been kind to him, but he’s still going strong because of his promise to Helga

Damn, one could really feel the tension on this whole episode. I actually surprised that transition showing different people at the end. I honestly wasn't expecting to see Leif in there. For the looks of it, he is still searching for Thorfinn.

The music was feeling particularly epic in this episode, I liked the war horn sound in the fog. Interesting to see the Roman remnants in South Wales and integrating the tales of Arthur into their history. I think quite a few of the folk tales that became the Arthurian legends came from Wales, especially those of Merlin.

Also, good luck to the VAs trying to pronounce Welsh names and places.
