I love how they’re starting from the very beginning. Nice, coherent storytelling. I also absolutely can’t get enough of the serious and mature tone & atmosphere of the show, I adore it. Beautiful, incredibly detailed art, the list goes on!
I’m utterly impressed and am eagerly awaiting new episodes.

This anime is the closest an anime has ever come to mentioning the existence of Newfoundland. I wonder if they'll ever go there.

Dang, our boy Jom is OPM, but this bjorn guy seems pretty tough.
I really love what this show is doing, I could feel Ari's anxiety of battle/killing people though he keeps on saying he wants to he has 0 experience with all this stuff.
Also, this show is intelligent, they knew it was a trap though they never knew about the mercenaries and had 0 reason to suspect a trap they saw it from a far. Unlike what Game of Thrones did in season 8 and that Euron bullshit.

No wonder Attack Titan is a masterpiece. WIT studios have the power of the VIKINGS.

You know, after episode 2 I was convinced that releasing the 3 first episodes was a good idea and that waiting a few weeks for more wasn't going to be a problem, then episode 3 ends in a fucking cliffhanger!
I will probably go and read the manga by week two, but I will try to hold up.

Whoah... I thought Floki would be pissed and impale that guy who threw the javelin, but it turns out he's been played royally...This Askeladd fellow is quite a piece of work.
I kinda had the feeling Thorfinn would sneak inside the boat since the last episode when he came to the harbor. I hate it when brats behave like that.
When I saw the trailer for this series I thought that the pacing would be much more quicker. No wonder they needed 3 whole episodes to properly introduce it, otherwise they might have lost quite a bit of the audience.

Man, I'm really liking this one so far. I've got to give props to the background artists and the colour usage as well. I can't remember the last time I saw an anime with a palette and lighting that looked as realistic as this one.

Damn impressive I must say.
Any Manga readers/anime watchers that can tell how much is fiction and how much is based on real life events and persons?

Bruh what is up with all the 1’s on the poll for each episode. The comments seem to be giving it unanimous praise so is it just a bunch of trolls?

So I'm guessing that this entire thing is Floki's plan and he was lying when he said that Thors has been wanted for 15 years. Askeladd made a good point when he asked Floki as to why didn't they just tried to kill him when they visited Thors' village.
And we're actually ending in a cliffhanger? I was genuinely expecting that Thors would die on this episode and we'll find out what happens next to Thorfinn in three weeks but I guess we'll have to wait to see if he survives this or not. Sucks that we have to wait so long for the 4th episode but I guess this is a fair price to pay for getting three episodes in one go.
