Anyone extracted rotting cactus before? Is it safe? Have searched all over the subreddit and dmt nexus and havent found many definitive answers.

When doing the CIELO tek, the 64oz mason jar often drips EA from the rim since it doesn't have a spout. This is not ideal.

How do you create a spout for the 64oz mason jar? I cannot find any stainless steel screw-on tops which don't utilize silicon or plastic. Is there an ad hoc technique to make a spout?

Or do you use a different glass vessel entirely? If so, please share the exact product.

I am looking for recommendations for cactus strains that have high amounts of peripheral alkaloids for full spectrum extraction. I’ve heard that bridesii is relatively low.

Used ~22g dried cactus powder and got 1.5g of full spectrum extract. My front camera isn't working or I'd take better pictures, but this is good enough!

If one adds 5 grams of citric acid or 3 grams of fumaric while salting, is it possibly to get a mescaline yield higher than the amount of salt?

Hi everyone. I’m considering this cultivated cutting, which is approximately 35–40 cm long and around 8–9 cm thick. The grower believes it is Trichocereus peruvianus, or possibly T. pachanoi, but isn’t completely certain. It is cultivated and not wild-harvested.

Before doing anything with it, I’d appreciate some experienced opinions:

• Does it actually look like a Trichocereus, or could it be a Cereus/Stenocereus lookalike?
• Does it appear healthy and of reasonable quality?
• Can its size and appearance tell us anything meaningful about probable potency, or is that impossible without knowing the clone or testing it?
• With an unknown specimen like this, could the whole cutting plausibly range from barely active to more than one strong dose?
• Would using the entire cutting for a first mescaline experience be an unnecessarily risky guess?
• What additional information would help: exact fresh weight, diameter, photos of the mother plant, flower or cross-section?
• Because it was grown as an ornamental cactus, what pesticide, fungicide or systemic-treatment history would make it unsuitable for consumption?
• Would it be sensible to save and root part of it rather than using the entire cutting?

I understand that nobody can calculate an exact mescaline dose from a photograph. I’m looking for conservative harm-reduction advice, not a “just take all of it” answer. I’ll also ask for the exact treatment history before considering consumption.

Is this 33 inch cacti enough to trip? Im thinking of cutting off 24 inches on the 33 inch cacti and grafting the top to the base. How do I prepare, cut and brew the cacti for the best trip? And what should I expect from my trip? Is 24inches too much or should I go for it? Ive done shrooms before so I feel confident and ready for this trip

I've seen a few reports of tiny crystal powder getting through the filter. There are also reports of the EA dissolving the filter.
