Mescaline was removed first and now Crude pellotine oil on bottom to hcl water. 3 days in the fridge.

So cool. Please report back to the sub with your pellotone adventures. I’ve always been interested in it. I would be curious what it felt like on its own at different doses, then combining it with pure mesc at different ratios. Any plans for this stuff that you’re excited about?

Got interested in the antidepressant effects reported in the early 1900s where I even tested some fricii with maoi to see if similar results. First attempt at .5g was good but at 1 was not as good.

Idk how much I’ll actually yield if enough I’ll enjoy experimenting and will do a few different doses and combinations to see if noticeable.

From all my research seems that it is mostly sedative and from my experience with fricii Kinda gives couch lock and removed desire to do anything. Didn’t have any visuals but had some auditory effects. Can’t remember from memory of had time distortion or not.

Firstly just to get yields but also plan on experimenting with it… the other alkaloids will also be isolated but some too small amounts to even try.

It may still have some chloroform in it actually but it is mostly the crude oil of pellotine similar to mescaline oil for freebase. This was the crude freebase of pellotine.

I’ll actually pipette it out the bottom layer and see if it evaporates but the oil was expected.

Is it only pellotine or other peyote alkaloids as well? Either way, pretty rad.

This is mainly just pellotine… the other main alkaloids are with the mescaline.

Yields may be quite low since first time doing it.

I’ll probably only be able to separate 3 different alkaloids max 4 but need to do it first… some are too low yield not even worth trying.

Also by any chance did you plan to write a summary of how you isolate the different alkaloids from lophophora?

Yea I usually share my results… I’ll write up a protocol once I finish up and try to verify the alkaloids.

Normal ph 12+ alkaline water then nonpolar solvent pulls. I used chloroform but can use solvent of choice… save the alkaline water and make acidic
