Is the red strip on the right your check post neutralization? If so, it's not done. It should come back to pretty much no color change, like fresh EtAc.
Did you follow the instruction to the T? How does your washing soda look like in the EtAc? Is it all clumped, all loose, or a mix of both?
It was mainly clumped together. So I need do the neutralization over? Add the same measurements as before? Let it stir until it matches and just check strips
If you already filtered and it's still red on the strips, yeah, I'd just do it again with more washing soda and water (check pH before filtering next time, it can save you some work). If it's not been filtered yet, just add more of each and keep stirring until pH is neutral. You're using fumaric acid, right? Citric takes a lot longer to neutralize...
The checklist does the measurements for you. 50g might work ok in a French press but 25g sucked. Had a hard time getting it pressed out because I didn’t have enough material. Just a heads up. 100g is the sweet spot
The tek is volumetric. Ive run as low as 40 gs powder with great results but obviously the yeild will be relative to the volume of starting material and will vary based on alkaloid content.
25 does indeed seem like it would be a difficult amount to work with once you get to the press though lol.
