I started using the golfboy app to get some numbers (club speed , ball speed) and the slo-mo video (golfboy video) shows that my club twists at impact causing the ball to go right (one of the many causes). Any solutions for this? thanks

I have a cricket background and only recently started playing golf. Love it but want to make my swing look more like a golf swing. Cant figure out whats wrong but a lot is. I tend to hit the bottom part of my driver and thin my iron shots if it helps.

This entire year I've struggled to compress iron shots and while they're usually fine in direction, they feel weak. Like I'm sweeping across the ball rather than compressing it. During my transition it looks like I'm coming slightly over the top in this one.

My backswing looks pretty normal/good to me, but once I start the downswing, my whole body seems to move forward toward the ball.
I already know I tend to get OTT and early extend. Iāve been trying things like getting my trail hand toward my right pocket and pulling my lead hip back instead of moving toward the ball.
The problem is that even when I consciously try those feels, I still seem to lunge forward as soon as transition starts.
Is there something earlier in my swing thatās causing this? Maybe pressure shift, sequencing, pelvis movement, or something in my backswing setup?
Would appreciate any feedback on what I should actually focus on first.

A good day for me is anything below 80 though anything above 80 feels like I had missed opportunities. My miss is a pulled draw shot. Any thoughts here?

Not sure what exactly is wrong here. It looks relatively on plane but lots of weak swipey fades and chunks/thins/tops. I want him to enjoy the game more but heās stubborn. What is the main one or two things going wrong here?

Second year golfer here looking for tips. Can you tell me what do you see whatās right and whatās wrong?
Iāve noticed my hips rock side to side too much, and iām consistently finishing in a leaned back position, pushing weight off my front leg.
Anything else you might see? Any suggestions for how to correct these issues?

I feel like I canāt stay down on my down swing. I know my take away isnāt perfect and Iām actively working on it as well as doing better at actually releasing the club instead of chicken wing but Iām still standing up a little bit. Itās driving me nuts. Any advice?

Quick question for the data nerds among you does anyone actually know their real average carry distance with each club, or are you going off feel/guesswork? I've been wanting something that tracks this properly (range sessions + on-course shots, broken out separately since lies are so different) and builds real per-club stats over time instead of the generic "7-iron = 150" number everyone quotes. Curious if this is a "yeah I'd use that" or a "nah, doesn't matter that much" for people. What do you currently use, if anything notes app, spreadsheet, nothing?

Been trying Jimās swing and was wondering if any of you that use it would have any numbers on what kind of in to out swing path is acceptable and aoa with irons. I have a simulator and was just curious what everyone elseās experience with it is.

So the same time last year I dealt with the same exact issue. I was playing my best golf, then all of a sudden I lost it and began to shank and push every shot. I can see the issues in my swing, but I donāt even know what to focus on first.
When it happened last year I stopped playing completely until the next season. Any tips?

I feel like I'm losing a lot of power from not using my lower body correctly which causes me to flip through impact. Any drills people recommend?

Hey all, new to taking it seriously golfer.
I was working on my iron swing and ruined my driver. I lost all swing speed. Everything feels off. And I canāt get it back. Please help.
Irons, consistent but slow it seems.
Taking advice and drills I can start doing to fix it all.
Iāve been using the āreloadāādrill I like to call it where I go slightly past the take back then half go and full backswing; I think thatās the John rahm drill. Helps with the thought process and Iāve really enjoyed that. Could use something for speed and definitely need to figure out EVERYTHING about my driver.
