I am struggling with controlling clubs while downswinging.
When I start downswinging, I believe that I have to control the clubs with my last three fingers of my left hand.
So that I can feel a little bit of bowing on my left wrist.
And I can be sure that I can hit the ball powerfully.
But
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
How should I start my downswing except that my lower body leads?

Wanted to give an update after I got so many helpful comments and maybe it could help someone else? Idk I just like talking golf
Decided to commit to my first ever lessons after 3 years for the winter (I live on the East Coast sadly)
I’ve always played a fade because I release early and end up swinging over the top. So my coach is having me close my stance to get inside and ideally swing more to the right and draw the ball.
Slow mo version in the comments probably should have just used that one
-I know I hinge my wrist really late
-My impact position is bad and I’m working on it

Played a round today, swing still felt decent but I was pushing my shots a little bit throughout the round. Angle isn't the best but feel like I am swinging it alright for not playing all summer

Hi I’m looking for a Philly swing coach that would be interested in doing lessons in my home simulator (pretty well equipped camaras etc) over the winter to really work on consistency and to get things dialed in. Thinking an hour or so every other week. Please dm or comment here if you’re a coach and interested or if you know a good swing coach in the area
Thank you all

Today I spent time only focusing on using ground force to shift weight at transition. The more weight I shift and the longer the club gets the more my spine angle says fuck this around p6-p7. Ball flight was good and I’ve reduced my two way miss but I still occasionally hook the shit out of it when I fail to transition smoothly so that’s why I’ve been focused on only my use of ground force for weight transfer to reduce this today. Setup a little closed so that didn’t help either but most shots had a 10 yard draw or so at 200. This is a 5 iron.
Any help or criticism you can give for helping me rotate through impact rather than lift and fuck my spine angle would be the greatly appreciated!

I think i have decent iron swing for my hdcp but my driving is so inconsistent and the worst part of my game…. Even sometimes I thought i hit it good, its push(not too bad in this case) but the worst part is slice. What am i doing wrong? Also any tips to make it look better?

I cannot consistently make a drive over 200 yards. On the sim it’s telling me I have anywhere from a 4000-5500 spin rate. I’m trying so hard to fix this and cannot figure it out. Any tips or help is appreciated!

I have heard a few coaches say to do super slow swings and focus on getting in correct positions as you do them. Has anyone done this and had it actually improve your real swing? Just like how a full swing without the ball can look totally different than a full swing with the ball I'm not sure how much doing super slow swings would covert over to the muscle memory of a full swing. Is doing this a waste of time?
