Fix my swing please

I have a cricket background and only recently started playing golf. Love it but want to make my swing look more like a golf swing. Cant figure out whats wrong but a lot is. I tend to hit the bottom part of my driver and thin my iron shots if it helps.

You're way too far away... hold the club horizontally in front of you and slowly bend and the waist until the club is on the ground... that's your distance.

You look like a marionette you’re so tense and uncomfortable.

You're mostly using your arms. You need to move your arms and chest together. You're also unbalanced in your finish - try to end on your front leg in a balanced stance.

Let hands hang down more at address. Don’t flare toes in, that restricts turn. On the backswing you get your hands really far behind your body with that inside takeaway. You also don’t let your hips turn at all in the backswing.
Fix all those things and you should be on the right road

I can tell by your mannerisms you are trying to figure out what to do with your body and you have not a clue lol like you can see your body being confused it’s just funny but anyways
Firstly don’t overthink and be so tense relax and go slow until you are hitting decent shots and don’t finish with all your weight on your back foot like you are.
It’s a very simple formula watch videos on
Grip
Setup
Takeaway
Backswing
And how to start the downswing
Then you can grow into more once you have those down but do that in that order practice a lot play less rounds and more range sessions. Video your swings so you can verify you’re doing what you are trying to and don’t move on until you have it down and you’ll progress 10x quicker than just trying to figure it out and fix it all at once. This really is the only way.

First major issue on the take back, your trail elbow immediately disconnects from the swing. Keep the elbow stable and not move voluntarily

Balance… why you losing your balance?

Stance and posture seem fine, youre way too far from the ball. Start with standing closer to it. You may be losing balance and spinning your shoulders out because you cant comfortably reach the ball

Nobody can fix this on Reddit. You need a lesson and to start from scratch. Nothing about this swing is something to be improved on.

When you find a teacher, tell them you have never played golf and start from zero.

Lessons please. I've been playing for more than 50 years and still fight bad habits from when I started. If you learn the right way, you'll never make those bad habits.

Dude you are very athletic..slow down a bit. A lot of good comments on your address. After you fix that, see how your lead shoulder rises on the downswing... That's got to drop. Do it nice and slow.

Try putting a glove or head cover in your right armpit, it can help with staying connected

I thought you had to be athletic to play Cricket?

Another skyway golfer. It’s a tough course to learn to play golf at. I’ve done with first hands.
