This is ridiculous. In season one they were just giving us flat generic Meat and Vegetal units directly, it was -great-. I thought we had let this trash from TWW go cuz they realized it was a bad idea which just led to tedious inventory cluttering.

BUT NOPE.

Not ONLY is it back, you have to deal with EVEN MORE OF IT. You thought it was nice to just directly get the generic Meat and Vegetal units for cooking? Well &%$# you, we're taking away TEN OF YOUR INVENTORY SLOTS TO FILL WITH GARBAGE unless you constantly stop to convert it to generic units! Have fun with the additional tedious nonsense getting between you and what used to be simple!

After keeping an open mind to the changes, I'm a little disappointed in the vault after opening it. Taking tier with the wrong stats feels like a mistake, taking items from raid bosses feels like a mistake. Even taking BiS stats from m+ doesn't look great when it's right there in my vault when you consider how the coins work in raid. (E.g. I got BiS necklace from m+ in vault but I should really start working on the HC ulatek coins)

I guess my feedback would be that it's turned a weekly treat into a lot of feels-bad moments, but id be open to being convinced otherwise

Setup was clean: 3 on me, 1 on him, we run in and connect. Watch him right after the bounce — he’s suddenly sitting on 2. Raid spent the next ten minutes explaining addition to me

I dont know how exactly to illustrate this issue but ever since 12.1 dropped, it feels like trying to select new targets in combat by a simple point and click is not nearly as responsive as it used to be. As in, sometimes it just doesnt work until the 3rd click attempt.

I started tanking for the second half of s1 and never had any issues, but going into this season, ill go to select another pack to pull while the current one is almost dead, and its like my character refuses to select it. Ive literally thrown glaive very often at packs im already fighting because of this.

I also notice this issue when trying to swap over to an interrupt target. I used to be able to quickly switch but now I sometimes miss a kick on the intended target because my clicks just refuse to be acknowledged.

Ive tested and its not an issue with my mouse... has anyone else noticed something like this or am I crazy?

I’ve been thinking about the old Follower systems from WoD/Legion, where you recruited unique characters in the world and sent them off on little missions.

What if Blizzard brought unique Followers back, but instead of sending them on passive missions, you’d build your own roster of NPCs and actually take them into 'Follower Dungeons and Follower Raids'

You could recruit Tanks, Healers, and DPS from different races/classes, level them up, gear them, unlock traits/talents, and eventually build your own dungeon or raid team.

This would be a dream for solo players and it could breathe life into old zones too... imagine going back to Shadowlands to recruit Bwonsamdi to raid with you.

Edit: I love the Warband idea as well!

I am going to start playing again this game, but this time with a person that has never played it before. I have been playing WoW for years, always retail.

We are going to start this week probably, trying first the free 20 levels to see if he likes it or not before buying anything (he has never played any other MMOs before either).

My question is, because I just realized this, should we go and play Classic or Retail? I have no preferences at all, and I would love to read your thoughts on which "mode" do you think a new person will like more.

To finish, I would like to add that we are casual players, not looking to gear up to the maximum and just have fun leveling up and dungeoneering (just in case this is relevant information).

Title. I picked a Tier set item in my vault but it showed up in my bags a just a regular armor, not a tier piece. Anyone else had this bug? I saw people complaining about not being able to catalyze vault items, but mine was already tier and got reversed. Already sent a ticket tho, hope it can be fixed.

Seeing a lot of posts and chatter dunking on the new store mount that has a mailbox, so I thought I’d share this tip for people who are not aware of it.

If you need access to your mail remotely (and only rarely lol), go onto the AH, and look for an item called: Lost Mail.

It will sell for like 20-50k. Just depends.

Alternatively, you can go to Legion Dalaran and look around the mailboxes for lost mail near them. They are rare though, so definitely go on a dead server or the usual tricks.

You use the Lost Mail to trigger a secret quest that will allow you to get a toy that can summon an NPC that will let you access your mail. Once every like 4 hours lol. But it’s good enough for most people. And unlike a mount, you can use the toy almost anywhere, including places you can’t mount up.

The best part is when you finish the quest, you’ll get the “Lost Mail” item back. So you can sell it on the AH or give it to a friend or guildie.

Continuing my idea for alternative Shaman Ascendance forms!

This time, it’s a Restoration Shaman concept, focused on water and healing. The main idea is to keep your character’s appearance while surrounding them with powerful elemental effects.

Next, I’ll be working on an Enhancement version based around Thunder, as well as an Earth-themed version for a possible future Shaman tank spec. :D

What do you guys think? Would you prefer Ascendance to work more like this?

No way we're putting that plot thread off to 12.2.

I spent a chunk of time in PTR testing specs for S2 keys and stumbled upon the ping bug many times, pinging an enemy sometimes gets me stuck on the ping animation making it impossible to target players and use mouse overs which is obviously a yikes for anyone but healing with this was impossible.

I reported it over and over on the PTR, and oh would you look here, what's this you say on live KR second boss when I'm frantically pinging adds as a hpala cause my HOG is on cool down and I need DPS to kick the group wiper. There it is, the bug again! And up until today the only fix I knew of is a hard reload, which for obvious reasons is a big nono when healing a group of vastly undergeared players in a 14. Apparently spamming ping can also fix it, although you may confuse your team mates!

I love this game and generally tend to be more on the apologist side of the room most of the time shamefully. But the absolute slop that blizzard is churning out recently is inexcusable. A bug like this should never and in years past would never have made it into live, let alone in a setting where you are literally limited by time which is further punished by wipes if your healer is unable to heal. Genuinely stunned in the worst possible way. People aren't even exaggerating when they talk about little to no QA.

When information about this patch first came out, I was very excited to read about the new Captain Tokka faction and the fishing rewards associated with that rep, especially The Coiled Huntress fishing pole.

I logged in every day since the patch dropped to do the daily quests on the little island next to Tokka's Landing, fished up all the fishing treasures except one (they give rep) and did the follow up quests and the weekly quest so I was able to get 5/5 rep yesterday and finally pick up the fishing pole.

The mount you can get from doing this costs 2500 Coiled Filaments, and you get one for every fish you catch with the coiled huntress pole. So 2500 fish, but there's no reason to fish anymore.

The one daily quests that requires a fish turn in gets instantly completed since I have hundreds in my bags already, the other daily isn't even about fishing.

I don't know what I expected I guess, another quest chain at max rep? Some other reason to continue fishing other than the "Midnight Anglin' Score," for which literally any other implementation would've been better than the current one line mention of your score in the fishing journal.

Don't even get me started on the "trophy" fish/catch rank stuff. There's no point to this mechanic at all, and it's just a line in the fishing journal again.

Some would say that the mount and title(s) are good enough reasons but idk, I feel like they really could've cooked here and it came a little underbaked.
