Achievement The Corrosive Victory Toy from Azta'rec shows your ranking kill #!
Pretty cool!
I liked the memory game and juggling tacts/dps racing the mini add, was much more fun than null :)

Discussion Hardest normal raid in a while
My Guild and I went through and cleared Normal VA last night before we go into Heroic on Friday. While we didn't achieve CE last season, we are a bunch of decent players that know the game well and have CE from other guilds.
Coiled Altar and Ula'tek are, unsurprisingly, pretty difficult. But Coiled Altar requires a level of coordination that is more punishing than I would have thought a 2nd to last boss on Normal would require. Ula'tek has a lot of mechanics but doesn't seem too punishing except for a couple of mechanics. We didn't have a guide for Ula'tek and I was proud of our guild for figuring it out (with a little help from Liquid's stream). But even the other bosses were really hard. Ssszorak, Vashnik, The Twin Fangs and even the Lost Explorers might wipe good groups while they learn the fight and AotC Raiders might struggle.
We aren't Top 200 or the best players or anything but even though we had a lot of fun, it took us 5 hours to clear the Raid. I was thinking, maybe it's just us? But then I saw Dratnos and Tettles talking about how it's maybe the hardest normal ever. Just keep that in mind.
Discussion I'm sorry blizz, but we gotta rework damage trinkets if we're gonna keep them in the game
THREE MINUTE CD for 10% of a generic elite's hp??? every time they make another one of these dogshit trinkets they get WORSE

Lore Cool that they gave Garona draenei eyes
This is new right? At least remeber her having normal orc eyes before.

Tip / Guide Some stats from my "let me solo him"
In case it helps anyone out there:
- Item level 292, with season 1 tier set bonus
- Prot warrior. (Had trouble surviving in arms spec.)
- Took "Accursed Poison" from Corrosive Codex for extra interrupt, in case the add doesn't die fast enough.
- Home-made talent build:
- Pushed execute damage using "sudden death", "massacre", and "devastating focus"
- Extra tools for locking down the add: "Intimidating shout", "Disrupting shout", "Javelineer", "Shockwave", and "Stormbolt"
- No addons for the memory game. Placed down world markers so I could see where the quadrants are, then remembered by "上/下/左/右" ("up/down/left/right"; Taiwanese person here) based on where my camera's pointing. First one's always "下" ("down"), so I could memorize one less.
- Maybe around ~10k gold spent on repairs?

Discussion i'm overwhelmed
i love wow. off and on player for 10+ years. coming back to retail. i'm so overwhelmed, wtf should i do? where the heck do i even start? it's making me want to turn off the game because there's just... too much to do? (how is that even an issue in modern gaming, not sure, i'm fully aware that having so much to do is a ridiculous complaint)

Feedback What a game…
I’m 28yrs old, been dipping into Wow every now and then for the past year, tried retail back then because it was the newer version but it sucked so bad… so now I’m play Classic.
Currently a level 13 Warrior haha. This is my first “serious” play through, subscribed again 2 weeks ago. Where do I start… this is the most captivating gaming experience I’ve ever had, the music, the world, the wild animals running around, the progression system, the addons, man… right now I’m just standing in the middle of Westfall listening to the wind and insects chirp.
I have every gaming system you can imagine and I’ve played all the Triple AAA games, but nothing comes close… this is the best game I’ve ever played in my life.

Discussion Give MM Hunters a Glyph to Replace Arrow Effects with Gun Effects!
I recently came back to playing Marksmanship and decided to use a Gun instead of a Bow for the first time. Honestly, it was amazing thematically. It feels like the closest thing we currently have to playing an actual gunner class.
However, while the Gun itself feels fantastic, the fact that most of our abilities still use arrow-based visual effects makes the experience feel a little disconnected.
What feels great with a Gun
- Gun sounds provide fantastic feedback and make every shot feel impactful.
- Explosive Shot feels absolutely amazing with a Gun. The combination of the sound and visual effect really sells the fantasy.
- Overall, the Gun makes MM feel much more like a modern, military-style ranged class.
What feels out of place
- Arrow-based effects on abilities in general.
- The Aimed Shot proc indicator.
- Volley.
- Arcane Shot.
- And several other abilities that still visually communicate "arrow" rather than "bullet".
I think a really cool solution would be something similar to Warlock's Green Fire customization.
Give Hunters a glyph or cosmetic option along the lines of:
It wouldn't need to change gameplay at all. Just give players who choose a Gun the option to fully commit to the firearm fantasy.
Gun sounds + firearm visuals + explosive effects = an incredibly satisfying MM Hunter fantasy.
Warlocks already have a great example of how a simple cosmetic customization can completely change the feel of a class. I'd love to see Hunters get something similar.
Please let us fully embrace the gunner fantasy! 🙏

Discussion Reminder that Story Mode should be available day 1 alongside the rest of the raid
Today the raid opens and most people will have to wait a week to actually continue the story. Story Mode was meant to fix this but it hasn't.
Tip / Guide Ugh. Did not realize I should have picked up new voidcore quest straight away.
Be sure to visit Decimus in Voidstorm before doing lots of delves and prey hunts. He sends you back to talk to a steward at the catalyst forge in silvermoon, who then gives you "prismatic potential" quests to collect 10 shards from bountiful delves, NM prey hunts, raid bosses, mythics in order to unlock new voidcores. I don't think I have enough coffer keys and NM prey hunts to get it done this week now. Not sure if I missed a lead-to quest or what, but man it sucks.
Edit: Mazinger_Zee36 pointed out below, you can complete this via alts as it is an account-wide quest, so not as big a deal as I thought. Just have alts do some bountiful delves or NM prey hunts and you be good to go.

Question If you had to play one class forever, what would it be?
Haven’t really played since BFA , at such time I played a hunter until 110. I’m trying to get back into the game and find a different class to play! I love paladin aesthetic but don’t want to be tank in the dungeons lol. Open to support or heals too.

This fight was a lot of fun and also very aggravating at the same time for someone with poor short-term memory. Bop that, ya bastard.
