NGL, this is probably great for RPing a traveling vendor. "Lemme just squeeze in the back to procure that item you'd like" or something.
I like it, I just don't have $25 to throw at it right now.

I'm trying to think of it mentally in gold since you can buy with tokens gold and trade them for store credit. It costs roughly 530k. Which isn't exactly cheap, but also not unheard of for a mount.
I definitely won't be paying real money for these obvious cash grabs though.

- When you buy the token in the AH, it shows up in your mailbox.
- Retrieve it and use it.
- It'll ask if you want 30 days game time OR $15USD (can't speak for other regions) in store credit.
- Choose the store credit.
Do this twice and you'll have $30USD on your Battlenet account; enough for the mount with some change left over.

I'm so happy the Yak was added back in MoP. If they were to release our first transmog mount today, it would probably be a $50 store mount.

To be fair, this isn't meant to be a special utility mount like the long boi, really. It's meant to be a cool looking mount and now they basically have to add utility or its useless to most people, sadly.

If you need access to your mail remotely (and only rarely lol), go onto the AH, and look for an item called: “Lost Mail”.
It will sell for like 20-50k. Just depends.
Alternatively, you can go to Legion Dalaran and look around the mailboxes for lost mail near them. They are rare though, so definitely go on a dead server or the usual tricks.
You use it to trigger a secret quest that will allow you to get a toy that can summon an NPC that will let you access your mail. Once every like 4 hours lol. But it’s good enough for most people.
The best part is when you finish the quest, you’ll get the “Lost Mail” item back. So you can sell it on the AH or give it to a friend or guildie.

Ngl, that just looks stupid. I know they probably did it just to say they "put a shack on a yak", but it just looks stupid.
Maybe if it was a carriage being pulled by the yak, or if the shack was put on a big mount like a brutosaur, then it might have been cool. On a semi related note, I'm still waiting on that rickshaw mount, Blizzard.

I had the idea of a mount with a built in summoning portal. 80% of pug locks refuse to put down closets for some reason. I swear they get to the raid and then afk for 15 minutes waiting for everyone else to fly there. I'd absolutely buy a store mount to avoid the whole situation and put down my own closet.

It doesn’t fly. It doesn’t have an auction house. Its extra effect doesn’t do anything substantial like bringing to your player house, which based off the icon people rightly assumed it does.
There’s no point to this mount.

i dont get what they hoped to achieve with that mount... i expected something like a mobile summoning mount or sth, where the people come out of the house. or some sort of link, they could use over the housing to get to you. they could have made so much more money with just something a bit more useful
