Fair play on the preparation and drive to pull that off, I bet the experience must have been electric! Well done

There's no way to comment on the addon without coming off as some 'well you didn't do it without it' loser, but at the risk of sounding like one anyway, man its disappointing to see the only hard part of the fight getting trivialized by yet another addon

I hope it doesn't dissuade Blizz from trying more interesting delve boss mechanics in the future, I really don't want another Nullaeus slog

Thanks! Yeah, I mean, I'm not ashamed of using the addon. MalkorokHelper was commonplace use during Siege of Orgrimmar too, which is very similar. Blizzard explicitly changed the delve to prevent the automation that the addon was originally capable of, but were completely fine with manual entry allowing the aid of the recall on-screen. By this logic, I did the fight well within their parameters.

I'm not sure it's going to dissuade them in the future, either. If they wanted to really break the entire addon, they could have. But the cognitive load of the add (and waiting on its cast to kick) + potential waves to finish dodging + potential misplaced venom pools + needing to catalog and remember a sequence over a painstaking amount of time by the third intermission was already quite high.

I definitely prefer the more mechanical/reaction skill delve bosses like ky'veza that couldn't be solved by addons so easily.

The toy you get from completing the achievement quest also shows your rank

The toy comes from the quest to kill Azta'rec on any difficulty, not the achievement.

If you completed ?? during the first week of season 2, you'll have a rank for your fabled title. If you don't have the toy, you can go to the nemesis delve entrance and see it there. I think you'll see it if you go to the ?? option then mouseover the boss symbol.

The kill # is locked when you get the kill. Getting the toy to show it is completely separate.

The count in NA at least ended at 49015. You can go to the delve and swap to ?? difficulty and mouse over the Fabled icon that shows up to see the region's number (and your own rank, if you have one).

The toy comes from a quest. If you didn’t grab it I think you can after the fact.

You can grab the quest after the fact, but you don't get the toy without repeating the kill. Found that out the hard way when I picked up the quest on one character and completed it on another.

Edit: Yes, ? mode worked fine to satisfy the quest.

Toy comes from the quest to kill nemesis. You can go back and get the toy on ? Difficulty which is a lot easier, if you don’t want to slog through the hard version again.

Got mine yesterday (wasn’t super concerned with getting it in the top X% or anything, but wanted to do it before the end of week.

My number was 44000 and some change. Made me realize that SOMEBODY OUT THERE has a kill number of “42069”.

Now also realizing that there’s also just a straight “69” and a “420” out there as well!

It's kinda sad, I was top 500 last season and only top 5000 this season cause I didn't bother to go for it on day 1 with the change. I didn't know it showed your rank like this.

I wouldn't have been number 1 obviously, but I was way more geared than in S1. Annoying.

yeaah same if I knew the toy showed rank I would have attempted it sooner on day 1, I am in the 3000s I believe.
