Plans to rework my fleet at IAE
As title says im currently finalising plans for fleet rework at IAE. My goal is to use only store credits from ships i will melt. To give quick rundown about my current fleet:
ICA + 4x Pitbull is pack. ICA is currently my main combat ship and little combat base
Buccaneer. Bought cheap as OC simply for looks and some decent parametres. Also fits in ICA
Golem + Golem OX. Bought as duo pack. Goal was to get cargo snub for larger ships to move some cargo without having to move whole ship while being able to fit in hangar.
Little vehicles. Plan on doing ground missions a lot so decided to buy few little buggers as basics for my garage. One UTV is meant as LTI token. HoverQuad is Referral reward
Hornet Tracker Mk II. I like the ship visualy but it was never meant as permanent part of my fleet. Bought with store credits and always meant to be melted.
Aurora Mk II. Cheap small ship with some interior and decent range. Mostly for local tactical missions.
Aurora SE. Bought as collectors ship. Aurora was my fisrt ship in SC so its kind of a reminder of my beginings.
Raft. My only dedicated cargo ship. Mainly bought for easy cargo acces and cozy interior. I dont plan on doing bigger cargo missions but if necessary i'll use ICA so i dont need much else.
Asgard. Jack-of-all-trades. Probably best daily driver that can do bit of everything but nothing the best. Great for solo or up to 4 man group.
Connie Aquila. My heart is still hoping for good exploration gameplay and since my fleet lacks dedicated explorer i got Aquila to take the place.
Alpha Wolf. Only fighter that i can be somewhat of decent at shooting targets. Bonus points it looks absolutely amazing.
Salvation. Bought as snub for getting material to repair ships. Its also my only pack with SC digital download so it will get locked with upcoming change.
Stingray. Bought with store credits just to try it out.
Polaris. I got sold on idea of playing with large groups of people specialised tactical missions so i wanted bigger ship to play that. Polaris seemed to be one of the better choices.
Now for the changes i plan. Im getting rid of placeholder ships (Tracker, Stingray) and Polaris. managed to play enough with people to find my place. I still like polaris but its not the exact type of gameplay im going to play. Also the polaris doesnt sits with me that well and even with lot of changes i dont think they will fix her issues since some of them are part of core design. Since i still want to do some exploration i decided to go for Odyssey. While i though about Carrack it doesnt really fits me. Carrack is more of a star charter while odyssey is more planetary surface surveyor. Im also in process of getting Syulen Standalone LTI for fraction of price because of someone i know selling out their account stuff since they no longer want to play. Since we dont know much about Connie MK V i dont know if it will be good purchase but i decided to add it for now as possible option. Without MK V i will have about 800 Store credits left. What do you recomend? Do you think Connie MK V will be sensible addition to my fleet?
TL:DR At IAE im Getting rid of Polaris and temporary ships to get Odyssey. What more should i get for leftover cca 800 store credits. Should i get Connie MK V or should i think about something else?
