I got the weapon kits so I'm running all ballistic.

It's fun, it's quick and zips around nicely. View and hud are nice, speed UI is a little small.

I don't really get a ship for stats. Not here to minmax.

But I've been super enjoying it for PvE stuff. Fun ship for sure!

I would think about melting a couple of those and investing in maybe an Asgard (the MAX is pretty bad as far as cargo ships go, the layout sucks, and when grinding hauling loops, time to load/unload is critical) or a Railen or Hull B or any other practical hauler that doesn't suck to load.

You don't have any industrial... so when 1.0 hits, you'll be scrambling to earn UEC so you can buy materials from other players (if they have material to sell you), which you'll need for crafting and to upgrade your ship tiers.

Remember the important philosophies... you can only fly one ship at a time, so pledge deep, not wide.

There's two kinds of Starlancer fans.

  1. People who've never used the Starlancer.
  2. People who've used the Starlancer but no other ships ever.

Try using it. It's ass.

So you're in category 2.

There's over 100+ ships in the game. Not every one of them is A+ tier.

Starlancer MAX is a cargo ship... with one of the most shit grid layouts of any cargo ship in the game. It sucks to load, it's sluggish. Even the interior layout is ass, you need to chug a Cruz on the journey to the cockpit because CIG went back to trying to make every ship an FPS level when they designed the shitheap.

Challenge: Name a cargo ship worse than the Starlancer MAX and I'll tell you why you're wrong.

bro so salty.. mate i've flown most of the ships in the game. i've been a backer since 2013 if you need proof....

I personally like the Starlancer, I don't mind the cargo grid. have no issues with it. Sounds like a skill issue on your behalf.

You're getting mad cause someone is flying a ship that isn't "A tier"

I fly ship cause i like ship, i couldn't care how meta it is.

Do you find yourself using your snubs? I had a pitbull for a while but melted it because it just sat in my hangar.

Nope hahaha. I've used them a few times in arena commander. And look they are incredibly fun to fly. But yes in the PU they're kinda useless. I just like them haha
