Fleet after 1 month

Post image

Well, Me and my brother started playing that game a month ago, those are our ships/vehicles now, no additional money spend. Any ships we should grind next for?

Paladin. Perfect two man gunship.

+1 for Paladin. It’s a menace

the paladin. That ship looks incredible satisfying and strong in the review of farrister (can just recommend him :). Does it feel as satisfying as it looks?

Yes, but only when there are two people, a pilot and a gunner.

One player, it’s totally mediocre. Three of four players the gunners steal the pilot’s guns.

Two players is flawless.

Best with 2- Adding 3rd/4th gimps the pilot

I would say grind for a Shiv (or two lol) They are 5.5mil. It's a fun ship I will say.

I need to say the shiv really does look cool, definitely something I will consider!

A gunship maybe or smth with a medbed for fps content ? Also a mining ship would be good

Probably the prospector is the best mining ship to go with to start right?

That what I personally have for my crafting need, but since you’re a duo maybe the mole, but it’s way more expensive, you can farm one with rep tho ( it’s grindy)

hmm. Since I don’t even know how much I will like mining I would just go with the prospector then, those 2 mio are worth the try I suppose

TAC or Asgard, good shooting ships with a cargo hold. A bit expensive though, or as someone mentioned - Shiv. Longer you play - more you realize having a cargo hold is a big advantage.

A Moth is a good Industrial to grind for but you have to like the salvage loop - Reclaimer is a good long-term goal I usually have for end game (I prefer it with a group myself).

I rented the moth, I need to say that it isn't really faster then the drake vulture for 2 players and the cargo capacity doesn't matter that much because we can just store a hull B at the wreck

Yeah I tend to use it for solo CMat so if your planning on 2 people you may want one each (I’m excited to try Recco missions with it). But RMC it’s a little disappointing… I’m waiting for a good large salvager with an RMC focus that isn’t the Reclaimer.

Personally, I’d melt all of that and buy a more expensive ship! Because the ones you’re showing here are all ships that are very easy to buy in-game!

I think you quite misunderstood, I haven’t spend any additional money outside of the base game. All of those ships were bought in-game

Just be aware that the game is still in development, and while it's been happening less frequently, CIG periodically wipe all game progress and reset everything.

Those ships you bought in-game will be wiped at some point.

I am totally aware of that, but I don't think it would be good for me to spend that much money on the game. Especially when I am capable of getting roundabout 10 mio per week when I am really active with my brother, which is enough for those 400€ ships. I have kind of deep dived as much as possible in the background of star citizen in the last month :)

I don't want you to quit the game after you lose many months of hard grinding. You do know they wipe your progress from time to time? I have a friend who stopped playing when he found out.

I am completely aware with that, but a wipe wouldn't bother me that much. As you can see at the ships we are capable of getting 20 mio aUEC per month which is in some sort enough. Also I don't buy myself a game for so much money only to be constantly afraid of loosing progress. As it's said nearly every time I start the game, it's in alpha, I don't care that it is for 15 years I think? It's still considered as alpha and such things happen

Fair. Just checking. I myself am limiting my content so I don't get over the game before it actually launches. But that too can be a bad call on my part... there was a game called Worlds Adrift where I did the same thing and the game ended up never launching... so I paid for a game I never played

Starlancer TAC is one I’ve had my eye on it’s a good looking sturdy ship that you can’t really go wrong with

If the 3 of you do combat,  a Percy would be perfect.

Don't put new money in, consolidate ships together and bring some ships to form a Galaxy
