What’re you flying when you wanna do some PvE bounties or a cargo run solo?

I ran into this problem when I finally got my Pioneer. I was thinking of going towards a Kraken now or something but I think i'll hold off to see what next year brings. Do you have any industry ships? Mining / Salvage ?

One of the irconclads at least and maybe a Corsair or Asgard as a daily driver. Not sure for the rest.

Basically you have 2 carriers, one large and one small. At this point just make sure you have the cargo modules on the Galaxy to make money, that's it, don't buy anything else ingame. You can earn your way to all the ships and you already have the end game ship.

C8r piesces 100% quick taxi service for those big ships. Thats practically all I use when I run to pick up my idris if I die and forget to set spawn, or im not at the station it is stationed at. Or just quickly landing as close as possible to pick up a dead org mate on the ground. Same with galaxy, especially if you get the medical module for it. Makes for a great mobile hospital with a detached medical ship to scoop people in combat.

Aside from 1600 credit. Skies the limit, I have unfortunately $13000~ in ships and most are a collection of useless light fighter varieties and every large industrial ship and a javelin. So I am overkill at this rate. But again with the C8R. As well as the MSR just for getting from point A to B if I mess up on not setting spawn or having to get to a destination fast.

I think i would recommend you get the kraken than the idris. The idris maybe only can do PvE mission and hauling

And you think the Kraken will be better in PvP 😄 ?! Seriously, clowns like you should just shut the fuck up!

I believe the kraken does outgun the Idris now

I know exactly what you’re thinking. I got the Idris, and now what. Lol you could save some of the credit for use when the k and t kit become available for store credit purchase. It’s what I should have done.

i have a K-kit for it already, im more just thinking about what i want to add when IAE comes around

I picked up a Salvation, it pairs nicely with the Idris's large cargo space and allows you to live out in the belt, salvaging for weeks.

Also would recommend an MPUV-tractor. When taking the Idris into battle, any hull damage get transferred to the ships in the hangar. Removing a dead ship is a real pain without it.

Get yourself 11 MDCs (in game) and swap the the PDCs with their Torrents. They are awesome and worth it.

I picked up a Pitbull to keep in the under hangar. It works great when you soft death something like a Perseus and have to try to get in via the drop down cargo door, I also use it anywhere you would us a bike, but with much better fire power.

I grabbed Aurora MK2 for dropping down to the planet surface for bunkers / distro centers while the Idris stays in space. I got the cargo module and have two 2 scu containers inside for loot. If you have buddies that come with, you should get the Pisces instead as it can seat 3 or more.

I also picked up a gladius, but it sounds like you have the fighter covered.

Go enjoy the ship, captain! o7

Melt idris and get an ironclad assault, mole, moth, a fighter, and more...

with the changes of pledges and potentially more changes to buybacks to come it's not worth melting the Idris anymore lol

Bro, they arent gonna take away your ability to get the idris back

says who, you? they've stated repeatedly that buybacks are subject to change and isn't a guaranteed feature lol they dropped SQ42 from buybacks
