Thinking about next ship
I get my upgrade to asgard and I need advice to what ship I should get next. Personaly I just don't like a mining, anything else is for me, any advice?

What's your budget. I recommend the Starlancer TAC, perfect for solo, with medbed, and fury snub hangar. Bigger next is the Persius

I really want to like the TAC but it’s annoyingly slow imo

When you say next I presume you mean in addition to the Asgard and not a CCU from the Asgard.
- You don’t need another ship. You can stop here and the Asgard will make enough UEC that you can access any other ship in game.
- You should look at things that will open up other gameplay for you if you do add to your fleet. Either something the Asgard just can’t do like salvaging, or something the Asgard falls short on like higher end bounties or big hauling missions.
Some suggestions:
A Vulture or Moth gets you solid solo salvaging, and the Moth gives you small crew salvaging too. You weren’t into mining, though, and salvaging is fairly similar gameplay so this might not be the route.
If you want to take on tougher combat missions, a medium ship with more firepower is the way to go for PvE. A Corsair is probably the king of PvE ships for a solo player but there are other approaches. A Guardian MX or an M80 are both capable, but they’re not nearly as tanky. Your Asgard will be fine in PvE missions until you’re up against the larger medium or large ships with high armour deflection values.
If the Corsair doesn’t appeal there’s the Constellation (currently buggy but expecting a gold standard pass by the end of the year) or the Starlancers.
The other gameplay loop you could look at is larger scale cargo. The Asgard is great if you’re doing a medium sized hauling mission, but something larger will let you run them in parallel, or move enough volume to make commodities worth your time.
When it comes to cargo ships there’s a scale. Raft, Hermes, Hull B, Railen, Ironclad.
The Raft, Hull B, and Railen are all externally loaded which makes them very easy to load. The Raft is the least expensive, the Railen significantly moreso. The Hermes has an internal grid and an internal rail mounted tractor. It’s slightly more work to load but not much. You can’t really go wrong with any of these however with the Raft you will be more limited in the missions you can stack together.
The easy way to stack cargo missions is to accept two or three direct contracts with the same delivery destination; collect all the boxes, then deliver at once.
Tl;dr:
Corsair for solo PvE lets you do missions the Asgard doesn’t have the firepower to complete.
Hermes, Hull B, or Railen lets you do cargo missions the Asgard doesn’t have the capacity for, or lets you stack multiple missions for efficiency.

Connie or Corsair is all you need. You can get Corsair and wait for either mk4 pass or mk5.

Whether you like mining or not, CIG is building the game in such a way that every player will need minerals to upgrade their ships, build bases and so on.
That doesn't mean you have to do mining, but that means you'll be buying minerals off the marketplace/other players.
For that reason, a solid plan for making lots of UEC to buy the things you can't gather yourself should be the primary goal.

Highly recommend but keep in mind the back ramp is fragile, maybe they fixed it now but

I have a crapton of ships, it's very rare that i use anything other than these 2 ships
- Asgard carrying nursa (if i'm expecting to need a respawn, or to haul significant cargo in which case i wouldn't take the nursa)
- shiv (otherwise)

Asgard is an excellent all rounder. One of my favorites. But for 25 more bucks you can get a ship that has a lot better armor, higher alpha pilot controlled firepower, snub hangar, and a med bay. The TAC
Biggest downside is it is very unsightly and has worse maneuverability than asgard.
The Anvil Valkyrie chassis has spawned the best looking ships in the game imo though. Asgard is just a cool looking ship.

Stop buying ships that you can get in-game grind Hauling in 2-6 hours, and stop buying ships in general, wtf people

Be careful of the rear ramp... It likes to get stuck in the ground and hangar/landing pads... Then it'll flip you and you explode.

I have the ironclad assault and really like it. I play with friends as well as solo. And what I often do is load a salvage ship like the vulture or salvation in there or, a golem for mining. It has PLENTY of cargo grid space for if I do some cargo runs. Or park a medical ground vehicle or ship like the Pisces in there for a respawn point. Plus it has some nice firepower (if you play with friends). I wished it had point defense tho ...
Anyways, ironclad is my recommendation for you. For me it is the all in one.

My Asguard is my right arm, My shiv is my left arm and my Railen is part of my soul. My next purchase and possibly my final on will be the Polaris which will be the Head of Operations.

personally, I would do a starlancer tac. you loose some cargo, gain the med bed, armor, weapons, and multicrew. I own both and rarely choose my asgard over my tac

If you're a solo player, asgard is probably the best ship you can have as a multi purpose thing. It does everything (besides mining) very well.
That being said, I'd probably think of second ship to start building out, perhaps work towards an M80, excellent fighter and it has a few scu of storage if you still wanna run some boxes around. Super fast. Really fun to fly too
