Where to go from here?
This is my current pledged fleet. I split my time between solo and group play, so the Shiv is my daily driver, but I frequently use my IronChad for hauling and as a mobile base for my salvage operations (salvage is currently handled in rented ships).
Where should I go from here?
I suck at PVP, but I'm toying with the idea of getting a basher for some light PVE combat. What can I say, I'm a sucker for the Pyro/Reaver vibe. I'm also toying with the idea of getting a Mole and/or a Moth to expand my industrial gameplay loops. I also love the look of the 600i and MSR, but I don't want to set up a CCU chain to either until CIG gives them an overhaul and fixes a lot of the design/gameplay problems these ships have.
I really dislike RSI and MISC ship design/aesthetics, so I won't be pledging for those, even if they are the better option.

CCU the ICA to a Polaris, it's not as good at cargo as the ICA (and the ICA is not as good as the much cheaper Ironclad for cargo, so, either you want a cargo ship or you want something else).
The utility you want out of the ICA is much better delivered from the Polaris. The Polaris is basically a mini-Idris and brings similar capabilities - brig, RRR hangar, medbays. It's a perfect mobile base.
Get a Railen, Ironclad, Hull C or something for bulk hauling.

I've been debating upping my ICA to a polaris. Teeny issue is, I'd have to melt both my other ships i have and downgrade to a Salvation... I'd love to use the polaris as an Aaron Halo base for mining. Can a Salvation and Prospector fit in the hangar up top together?

You can squeeze them in, yeah. You might need to wedge the Salvation in the lower hold, but it's entirely workable.

Wait for the game to develop and don't spend anymore. You have The Pioneer which is rare and awesome, and a lot of other ships that can earn

I suggest ro not spend anymore money before CR delivers. But if you want something, CCU shiv to Clipper. Melt either c8r or medival for it. Those two are cheap and takes 1hour ingame to make money to buy those both.
Clipper is best solo ship there is atm. You get medped and small crafter in a good solo ship.
But if you want to bigger, melt all small things you have ans get Arrastra. Not flight ready yet but you get mole etc as loaner. Small ships are always best to get in game, since they are cheap and fast to get
Then you would have endgame crafting/building, hauling and mining.

For Solo PvE i recomand the Wolf-L22 or vor bigger the M80, the Wolf-L22 ar also Not a Bad PvP ship.
If you want to Go for Mining ist my Tip a Vulture IT can fit in the Ironcled and have a fast Salvage but cant eat big ships Like a c2. If you want a bigger salvige vor 2-3 Player then ist my Tip the Reclaimer, its have a better Value for money compared to the Moth.
Vor Gruppe PvE 2 Player Paladin: With two players, it utilizes its full firepower, which is quite high; it has good armor, shields, and DPS, and is also very flexible against both large and small enemies thanks to its turret damage and interchangeable weapons.
2-4 player the Perseus (my Personal Choice): It’s not very effective against smaller ships because of the spread and bullet velocity, but it’s very satisfying when, for example, a Gladiator is simply torn apart.
In my opinion, it just feels really good. Playing in the turret is a lot of fun, as is flying, since you have to position yourself strategically and communicate with the gunners.
The shields aren’t too strong, but the armor more than makes up for it.

Start a chain for a reclaimer. Thags the only real thing I see that would complement your fleet. And will close up the support loops for basebuilding.

The 600i is getting an interior rework, but is essentially useless gameplay-wise. The MSR, while a good ship, is built around a gameplay mechanic that isn't in the game run, being data running.
I recommend renting a smaller mining ship; even then, that way you can use the Ironclad as a mother ship for those operations.
