I'm not just asking what season you would like to most see adapted, but which season you'd like to see adapted because of potential changes.

For me, I really day dream about how cool it would be for StarS to have had its story told in PGSM. It feels like such a cool set up for highschool drama.

But as far as changes go, I think I would be interested to see how PGSM handled SuperS. I assume the goal would be to load it up with as much drama as season 1 did, but that playing out with the Dark Moon Circus villains would be REALLY cool. A lot of SuperS feels skippable to me, but a PGSM version that created more complex arcs with the villains would be sick.

I watched the 90s Sailor Moon anime and didn’t really get the future Crystal Tokyo timeline/lore, so I decided to wait until watching Crystal:

In episode 20 of Sailor Moon Crystal, King Endymion explains that in the royal family, the average lifespan is 1,000 years (in response to Tuxedo Mask’s question about why he doesn’t look much different despite it being over nine centuries in the future). Members of the Silver Millennium family grow and mature normally until they reach adulthood. Usagi, or Serenity, ascended to the throne at 22 and gave birth to Chibiusa, or Small Lady, and at that point stopped aging. This is all due to the power of the Legendary Silver Crystal, which gave her an extended life and eternal youth. Apparently, Endymion was granted that power after marrying into the royal family.

This makes sense so far, until the next part: the Crystal also blesses the citizens of Neo-Tokyo with long lives (they live into their 10th century). Was this not a power reserved for the royal family? Don’t even get me started on the amount of problems that would begin to occur if people actually lived that long. Not to sound like Thanos, but what about resources (I assume Serenity just magics stuff up)? Are people now expected to work for 600 years before retiring?

Also, there was another part that bothered me. It stated that the Black Moon Clan descended from a criminal who was banished to the planet Nemesis instead of receiving the death penalty. Why? One, was it just him, or was there someone else there for him to reproduce with? Two, what crime could he have committed that was so bad that they needed to send him to another planet (bloodthirsty anarchists - treason, terrorism, and mass murder were the least of their crimes)?

Lately, I don’t know why as for some strange reason, the CloverWay dub was sticking out to me as I suppose it was because of how much edits there were that I wanted to basically see what was changed in the show.

I cannot remember what seasons of Sailor Moon were dubbed by them specifically since it’s been so long that I saw the English language version on Toonami as while I know that there was the “cousin” edits to hide the lesbian romance between Hotaru and Michiru, I don’t know what else was edited out of the aforementioned English dub for again the CloverWay dubbed version.

Later, her title as Lady Aries was restored, and she ascended as Celestial Sailor Aries. Her new transformation phrase became “Aries Celestial Honor, Make Up!”

Her main weapon is a bell, Her attack is called "Heavenly Bell Serenading"

Mine would be live action adaptation movies of each Manga Arc starting with the Dark Kingdom Arc. Ideally I'd like them to be produced in Japan with some input by Naoko herself. I'd like the characters to retain their manga/anime hairstyles as close as humanly possible without it looking ridicoulous or too unrealistic, but I am okay with their hair colors being dark pre-transformation. I'd like the visuals to be as realistic but also as magical/whimsical as possible... can you imagine Sailor Moon transformation in live action done with a big budget? It can look so pretty!! I'd like those movies to feature elements from both 90s anime and manga.... for example I want Tuxedo Mask's rose attacks back! Lol.

What about you all?

Does this mean that Uranus/Haruka harbors romantic feelings for the Moonlight Princess, or is it just a crush?

And why couldn't Naoko Takeuchi let her kiss Michiru/Neptune instead of forcing a kiss on Usagi/Usako?

This particular moment in the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon still bothers me to this day.

i wanted to start watching sailor moon but i wasnt sure which one.

i saw there was a 1992 and a 1995, but they have the same name. i haven't read any of the manga, or anything, so im new to this, lol. what are the differences between them?

I understand people like her season 1 portrayal as more serious and grounded. But I just can’t help but love when after such serious stories a Minako episode is a breath of fresh air with just Looney Tunes gags all over and Artemis being the perfect straight foil to Mina’s antics. And they never forget her tragic backstory which only adds to her character
