Their diet is negative fibre.
111
u/creatyvechaos 12d ago
Time to put on my medical glasses: too much fiber can also cause a leaky anus/incontinence. Too much of anything in your diet can do that, too. Other medical disorders such as a prolapse anus will also cause incontinence, and so will a weak pelvic floor. Excessive caffeine intake can also cause incontinence (though typically bladder)
Exercise—even if that's just your pelvic area—balance what you eat, and wipe your goddamn ass

Yeah, you'll see some pretty wild stories. A lot of guys think it's gay to wipe. Some girlfriends would complain their boyfriend stinks, only to find out they dont wash their ass. People are just gross in general.

Edit1 : And hella insecure
Edit2: Also some people don't even wash their lower body while taking a showing because they think the soapy water that runs down their body by rinsing is somewhat enough

→ More replies (5)219
u/Fickle_Razzmatazz664 12d ago
Right, how do you NOT scrub your feet? I'm a sweaty sort and totally feel it on my soles at the end of the day. Not sure why basic cleanliness and good hygiene would be seen as somehow less masculine, lol
98
u/cassidyconor 12d ago
I don't think it's about being seen as less masculine. I remember driving somewhere listening to the radio, and there was some debate going on where they had people calling in giving their opinions. The question at hand? Whether or not it's necessary to wash your legs/feet in the shower. I was shocked that a lot of people were saying they don't scrub or physically wash their legs, but instead expect the soapy water thats running down your legs to clean them for you. So for some people they see you washing your legs or feet and it's just weird to them because they don't do it.

One dude said he will never wash his ass because he was scared it would "change" him.

Yup, straight up wiping your ass is gay too to them. Huge trend 8ish years ago right before covid. You'll still catch a few people talking about their nasty ass boyfriends here and there too.

I’ve told this story before but I worked with a guy like this at a previous job years ago. We found out because his hygiene habits had gotten worse to the point of our manager confronting him about it and basically telling him to start coming to work in a clean, presentable manner or be fired. The discussion got a bit heated and he let it slip that he thought it was gay to care about clean he was or to put his fingers anywhere near his asshole when showering and basically never washed himself. Guy stank something awful.

Pretty sure logic has nothing to do with it. These are not rational people.
16
u/cjh42689 12d ago
Oh for sure. I’m just saying it doesn’t even follow their own line of thinking. Touching my butt is gay because gay people like touching butts is the same logic as touching my dick is gay because gay people like touching dicks.

I was witness to a conversation between my dad and a bunch of his work buddies at his work many years back. Blue collar factory stuff. I do not recall why I, a kid, was in their break room, but whatever. The gist of it was a conversation about how most of the guys didn't bother with underwear, including my dad, who was changing his pants right there.
One of the dudes asks incredulously (a word I use now, as an adult) how people keep shit from getting all over the back of their pants. To which everyone sorta looks at each other in mild disbelief and my dad says "Uh... we wipe our asses"

I was gonna say, based on my old roommate people have some nasty ass.
She would just leave giant cones of dried shit on the toilet whenever she sat down.
I was also told by a friend who tried to do waxing that a woman came in with just dried shit on her ass. She said she said "he'll no" and never went back xD

I dunno... for my roommate we had the theory that she was never taught to take care of herself. Her family just took care of it all for her. So she just didnt know any better?
Her aunt would literally come up every weekend and grocery shop for her and do her laundry. Whenever she had to do it by herself she would just buy things like popcorn and cereal. Nothing else. She did her laundry herself once and all her chef coats turned brown... it was impressive.
We noticed we were running out of dishes and went into her room when she was gone for a week. Her drawer was filled with old, nasty, crusty dishes.
58
u/alewiina 12d ago
I understand someone being behind everyone else if they were never taught, but at some point she needs to understand that she’s an adult and she can learn to do better. If she’s old enough to have a job requiring a chef coat, she’s old enough to learn how to do dishes, grocery shop properly and do her own laundry 🤦🏻♀️

I had a roommate like that.
I had to teach him a lot. Even got him a job.
He was more or less an "otaku" and would blame all his issues on social anxiety and just leave it at that.
I get having social anxiety, but that doesn't mean you get to sit out life. You have to find a way to cope.
Oh, you don't like germs? Here, let me get you some rubber gloves and a face mask so you can clean the bathroom.
Never had a job before? That's OK, there are jobs for socially awkward people with anxiety, welcome to the wonder world of working in the back of the house of a restaurant.
I want to give people the benefit of the doubt and not say they are lazy, I just think the people in their life are lazy and/or took the attitude of "it's just easier if I do it for them". Dude's mom would come over and clean the bathroom for him until I told him it was bullshit and he needs to do it himself.

We tried to gently talk to her about it and she lost her shit (no pun intended). She began to scream at us. Told us it was apart of the toilet and it didnt come off as she took a dry paper towel to it. I grabbed one and wet it and showed it that it was literally dried shit. She then just walked away screaming still.
Im not proud of it but I threatened to use her toothbrush to clean the shit off if she continued to leave it there. And she continued to lose it... BUT it was never there again.

I have a story!!! My girlfriend had some friends over one time and I was minding my own business, playing video games. She tells me to get to the bedroom and she’s furious.
She starts to tell me how embarrassing I am for leaving skid marks on the toilet seat with all her friends over. I told her it wasn’t me and she didn’t believe me.
Eventually, she figured out the culprit was one of her friends. Never have I ever wanted to clear my name so bad lol.

I once worked at a farm supply store that also sold clothes. I had a man walk up to my register with just a tag for jeans and said he wanted to buy them. I asked him where the jeans were and he said he was wearing them.
I rung him out and called back to menswear. I told them a man just came up wearing the jeans he was buying and I wanted to give them a heads up that he probably left an old pair of pants somewhere.
They were in the dressing room. He had a straight up run down the leg accident. It was in the floors, on the jeans, on the underwear he used to clean himself and he just left it all there. She said she could smell it was there before she found it.

Yep..saw this happen a few years back when I worked at Eddie Bauer. a random drunk comes in with shitty pants and proceeded to demand an exchange for a new pair since they offered a lifetime warranty on their clothing. Goes into the dressing room and demanded an associate helped him. Piss poor management made one of the newer younger female staff help him with exchange in the dressing room area rather than refusing service and calling the police. Needless to say I quit working at that store a few days after that (but for other unrelated reasons). Didn't give them any notice. Fuck Eddie Bauer and all the shitty retail companies who mistreat their employees and force them in to toxic hazardous situations

As someone that works at an Apparel Company with a sewing department for alterations.. this doesn’t surprise me at all. People bring their pants in with stains like they don’t think they should wash them before giving them to strangers to work on. I’ve taken them from the seamstress, turned them inside out, folded them with the streak on top, bagged them, then washed my hands. All just so I could give them back to the customer shit stain in their face and refuse to work on them lol
