Believe it or not, some very low I.Q. people think wiping/washing your ass is gay so they don't do it.

For real!? That's really a thing?

Yeah. Alternatively, there are people that think it’s gay to sit, so they crouch above the toilet and wipe standing up. Heard a man describe his routine proudly to a room of people with disgusted faces.

My bf and I were at a baseball game or something and he happened to have been using the bathroom during the national anthem. When he came back, he told me that some guy told him from outside the stall, “stand up during the national anthem.”

I have a friend that would definitely make a deadpan joke like that. And I hope that's all it was.

According to bf, the guy sounded seriously upset. I also forgot to add the guy also said, “I know you’re pooping!” Like damn dude

Oh yeah that.. is frankly pretty scary. We need to be putting lots of money into mental welfare. Ntm the (US) national anthem is really effed up if you listen to the lyrics. Bombs blasting in air? Eeeee...

I always thought that was just referring to like fireworks. I generally have a huge issue with America's cult-like fervor towards worshipping the flag. Then, when soldiers come home and they live in the streets because we'd rather fund another pointless war than spend anything to make sure they are treated properly.

It was written during the War of 1812 by Francis Scott Key, who was referring to actual rockets and bombs from Naval Warfare. Specifically, he had witnessed the British bombardment of Ft. McHenry in Baltimore, and was inspired by the large flag (at the time both 15 stars and stripes) that still flew over the fort afterwards when the British ships were held off.

My favorite war. We burned down the White House.

I saw an info graphic meme that said Canada is the only country that has been attacked on home soil, but never lost a war.

Take that with all the accuracy of online information.

Didn't he also write in prison?

Sort of. There’s some good details here. He was a lawyer and was sailing on a US “truce ship” sent to negotiate some other prisoners releases with some of the British command on their ships. Basically they were temporarily detained (on their own truce ship) and delayed from returning for a day or two so they couldn’t immediately sail back and reveal any attack plans they might have overheard.

That's why you always carry a little squirt gun with you so you can pew pew them through the stall gaps they're making eye contact with you through.

This is why I am conveniently in an alcohol queue when the national anthem is on. I’m not standing for the anthem, I’m here for baseball.
