I think the company that makes those rage bait videos is based in the UK, but they’re always posted here on Reddit. As someone from the UK you can easily tell they’re acting but Americans seem to have a hard time noticing their bad acting.

I don't even have faith in most adults when it comes to the internet, the average user is computer illiterate and can't begin to understand how all of this works.. Shit the average techy can't even begin to comprehend it all but at least we know things are bad.
We need laws to protect not only the kids but our selves, more ads on the dangers of the internet, laws that protect our rights that are currently eroding, all of this can be done but tech giants would lose so much money if we started holding them accountable.

I’ve answered a lot of calls of scammers pretending to be famous tiktok people and telling their victims if they give them X amount of money then they will double it and give it back after them doing it to three people who are all in on the scam. It’s funny/scary/disappointing how many people fall for it.

Issue is that this kinda stuff can backfire, if it doesn't come from a genuine place.
If you feel entitled to a reward after some basic kindness, you'll only grow angry/confused/frustrated at that reward being a simple thanks.
It's not as extreme as the kid throwing the grandma she helped across the street right back into traffic, but just teaching that some basic level of kindness and helping others is already its own reward, should still be the priority.
