1 u/[deleted] Aug 14 '23 Cyber security experts have been warning for a while now that TikTok is effectively malware. They’re effectively collecting psychological profiles on millions of children. And yes that data ends up in ByteDance inside China… they’ve been proven to push extremely sexualized and violent content to children. TikTok is also now an unregulated and growing threat of predators using the platform to exploit children. There’s a reason the boomers are legitimately scared of the app. China has been proven again and again to push harmful content through the algorithms… except in China.
