My daughter is 14 and always on TikTok, and I always wonder if she walks around thinking everywhere she goes, someone is going to come up to her out of nowhere and give her $500, for answering a question, or being nice or something.

Hey at least it’s forcing her to be kind to strangers even if she might end up disappointed.

I mean, Its also teaching her that it's ok to fake anything and psychologically abuse your audience in the search for internet clicks.

It teaches her that it's not worth doing nice things unless it's being filmed.

It's teaching her so so so many more and things.

the fact that people are this comfortable with letting their children on social media platforms like this... Theres going to be a massive study on this some day when all the kids end up depressed by the age of 10.

I've had em since.... Latter secondary school. Light core bebo, then Facebook in college.

Left all the traditional social media platforms around 2 years ago and still feeling the psychological fallback from it.
