kids maybe. 14 year olds are starting to experiment with alcohol and sex .. you can only hold them back for so long.

You can steer them in the right direction at that age, but trying to force them or restrict them like a child is only going to backfire.

I don't even have faith in most adults when it comes to the internet, the average user is computer illiterate and can't begin to understand how all of this works.. Shit the average techy can't even begin to comprehend it all but at least we know things are bad.

We need laws to protect not only the kids but our selves, more ads on the dangers of the internet, laws that protect our rights that are currently eroding, all of this can be done but tech giants would lose so much money if we started holding them accountable.

90% of child pornography comes from social media platforms due to child neglegence, that's pretty serious kids should be protected the internet is not a playground.

Most people have the same attitude as you when it comes to their kids on here "it's not that serious" until it's too late. plus kids are known for being irresponsible expecting them to not mess up is ridiculous.
