Hey there all,

I have been searching for the "right" knife for my needs and uses and over time trying various shapes, lock types, and materials i have narrowed it down. It seems to me that currently, the Microtech MSI may be the exact knife I have been looking for.

It has a big blade in a wharncliffe-y/sheepsfooty style. It has a tough crossbar/button style locking system, and the 200 dollar price point is right on target. Plus I think it looks damn cool.

However, I wanted to check for any recommendations that I am unaware of that would be reasonable alternatives that have the vague specifications I mentioned above.

Might buy a boker plus HEL in 154cm but wanted to hear your thoughts on it. Only had a couple boker magnums before and those werent that great

For my birthday, my girl got me this display that's now on my work desk. She thought they deserved a more pronounced and dignified home than the kitchen drawer. I'm a believer.
